Land Taken for Electricity Purposes in the City of
Wellington

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken
for electricity purposes and shall vest in the Mayor,
Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington as from
the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this
Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 28th day of
September 1953.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken:

004 Lot 30, D.P. 4071, being part Section 8, Evans Bay District; coloured blue.

Situated in Block XI, Port Nicholson Survey District

In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 141165,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington,
and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Buller County

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken
for river-work and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors,
and Inhabitants of the County of Buller as from the date
hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Pro-
clamation shall take effect on and after the 28th day of
September 1953.

SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood 8 perches.
Being Sections 4, 5, and 6, Town of Mokihinui, and being the
whole of the land comprised and described in certificate
of title, Volume 14, folio 83 (Nelson Land Registry).

Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare
that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is
hereby taken for a University college; and I also declare that
this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 28th day
of September 1953.

7.94 perches.

Situated in Block XXIX, Town of Dunedin (City of
Dunedin) (Otago R.D.). (S.O. 11724.)
