A PROCLAMATION
P URSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken
for housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation
shall take effect on and after the 28th day of September
1953.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 acre 1 rood
19 perches.
Being part Lot 7, D.P. 2971, being part Rural Section 2351.
Situated in the City of Timaru (Canterbury R.D.). (S.O.
8640.)
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 141243,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington,
and thereon coloured blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 22nd day of September 1953.

Incidental to Coal-mining Operations Under Part III of
the Coal Mines Act 1925 in the Borough of Kaitangata

A PROCLAMATION
P URSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and section 170
of the Coal Mines Act 1925, I, Lieutenant-General Sir
Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of
New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land
described in the Schedule hereto, now held for housing purposes, is hereby set apart for purposes incidental to coal-mining
operations under Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925; and I
also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and
after the 28th day of September 1953.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land set apart: 1 rood.
Being Section 16, Block XII, Town of Kaitangata, and being
the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate
of title, Volume 261, folio 142 (Otago Land Registry).

P URSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and section 15
of the Forests Act 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles
Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in
the Schedule hereto, subject as to Section 130A to the drainage
easement created by memorandum of transfer No. 7152, Nelson
Land Registry, now held for housing purposes, is hereby
set apart for State forest purposes, subject to the said
easement; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take
effect on and after the 28th day of September 1953.

P URSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto, now held for
the purposes of a quarry, is hereby set apart for the development of water power (Lake Taupo and the Waikato River
Power Scheme); and I also declare that this Proclamation
shall take effect on and after the 28th day of September 1953.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land set apart: 5 acres 1
rood 30 perches.
Being part Lot XI, D.P. 3300, being part Hinuera No. 2
Block, situated in Block XVI, Cambridge Survey District,
and being the whole of the land in Proclamation No.
10090, Auckland Land Registry.
In the South Auckland Land District; as the same is
more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D.
141064, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 22nd day of September 1953.
