Notice of Intention to Issue an Order in Council Revoking the Reservation Over Portion of the Horohoro-Ngakuru Domain, South Auckland Land District

WHEREAS by section 41 of the Public Reserves and Domains Act 1928 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) it is provided that, the Governor-General may from time to time by Order in Council, but subject to compliance with the requirements of subsection (2) of section 7 of the said Act, declare that the land comprised in a public domain or part thereof shall cease to be subject to Part II of the said Act; and, further, may declare either that such land shall be a public reserve for the purposes of Part I of the said Act, or Crown Land available for disposal by way of sale for cash under the Land Act 1948;
And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto forms portion of the Horohoro-Ngakuru Domain but is not required for domain purposes, and it is expedient to revoke the reservation over the said land:
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (2) of section 7 of the said Act, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby give notice that it is my intention to issue an Order in Council under the provisions of section 41 of the said Act declaring that the portion of the Horohoro-Ngakuru Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to Part II of the said Act, and shall be deemed to be Crown land available for disposal by way of sale for cash under the Land Act 1948.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—PORTION OF HOROHORO-NGAKURU DOMAIN

Land Reserved in the Canterbury Land District

WHEREAS by section 167 of the Land Act 1948 it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time set apart as a reserve, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral lease or pastoral occupation licence, any Crown land for any purpose which in his opinion is desirable in the public interest, and notice thereof shall be published in the New Zealand Gazette.
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 167 of the said Act, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby reserve, subject to the reservations and conditions imposed by section 59 of the Land Act 1948, the land in the Canterbury Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for recreation

Declaring Private Land in South Auckland Land District to be a Private Reserve Under the Scenery Preservation Act 1908

P URSUANT to subsection (2) of section 6 of the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act 1933 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby notify and declare the private land described in the Schedule hereto to be a private reserve under and subject to the provisions of the said Act, preserving, however, to the owner of the mid land or his successors in title the right to do any act or thing forbidden by section 4 of the said Act.
