ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 2nd day of September 1953 Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL PURSUANT to section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby approves of the following resolution passed by the New Plymouth City Council on the 15th day of December 1952 in so far as it affects the sides and portions of streets described in the Schedule hereto, viz.: 'The New Plymouth City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of New Plymouth, by resolution declares that the provisions of section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928 shall not apply

'(a) To the western side of the portion of Brougham Street adjoining parts Sections 668 and 682, Town of New Plymouth, more particularly shown on D.P. 809 and being all the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 39, folio 206, Taranaki Registry.

'(b) To the northern side of the portion of Powderham Street adjoining part Section 681, Town of New Plymouth, more particularly shown on D.P. 584 and D.P. 3418 and being all the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 86, folio 25, Taranaki Registry.

'(c) To the northern side of the portion of Powderham Street adjoining part Section 680, Town of New Plymouth, more particularly shown on D.P. 3396 and being all the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 115, folio 13, Taranaki Registry.

'(d) To the northern side of the portion of Powderham Street adjoining Lot 1, D.P. 4739, part Section 680, Town of New Plymouth, and being all the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 115, folio 12, Taranaki Registry'.

SCHEDULE The western side of all that portion of street situated in the Taranaki Land District, City of New Plymouth, known as Brougham Street, fronting parts Sections 668 and 682, Town of New Plymouth, as shown on D.P. 809.

Also the northern side of all that portion of street in the said land district and city known as Powderham Street, fronting part Section 681, Town of New Plymouth, as shown on D.P. 584 and D.P. 3418.

Also the northern side of all that portion of street in the said land district and city known as Powderham Street, fronting part Section 680, Town of New Plymouth, as shown on D.P. 3396.

Also the northern side of all that portion of street in the said land district and city known as Powderham Street, fronting Lot 1, D.P. 4739, part Section 680, Town of New Plymouth.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 141045, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Portions of McDonald Road in the Southland County to be County Road C. W. M. NORRIE, Governor-General ORDER IN COUNCIL At the Government House at Wellington, this 2nd day of September 1953 Present: HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county road.

SCHEDULE ALL that portion of road in the Southland Land District, Southland County, being part of McDonald Road, in Block XXIII, Taringatura Survey District, commencing at the northern boundary of Lot 25, D.P. 52, and proceeding thence due south for a distance of 48 chains, more or less, passing through Lot 25, D.P. 52, and adjoining part Lot 26, D.P. 52, and Lot 1, D.P. 1542, being parts of Section 162, Block XXIII, Taringatura Survey District. Also part of McDonald Road in Block XXIV, Taringatura Survey District, commencing at its junction with Breakneck Road and proceeding thence due north for a distance of 25 chains, more or less, adjoining Sections 144, 387, and part 163, Block XXIX, Taringatura Survey District, and part Lot 27, D.P. 52, being part Section 123, and part Lot 1, D.P. 2513, being Section 164R, and part Section J64, Block XXIV, Taringatura Survey District.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 141015, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Portion of Dunlop Road in the Southland County to be County Road C. W. M. NORRIE, Governor-General ORDER IN COUNCIL At the Government House at Wellington, this 2nd day of September 1953 Present: HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county road.

SCHEDULE ALL that portion of road in the Southland Land District, Southland County, being part of Dunlop Road in Block I, Teetoes Survey District, commencing 13 chains north-easterly of its intersection with the Kennington-Waikawa Main Highway and proceeding thence in a north-easterly direction for a distance of 37 chains, more or less, adjoining part Lot 10, D.P. 758, being part Sections 19 and 28, Block I, Section 31, Block II, and Section 53, Block IV, Teetoes Survey District.

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 14J013, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
