Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council and with the consent of the licensee, hereby revokes the Order in Council, dated the 3rd day of May 1944 and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 11th day of the same month, at page 552, authorizing Milton Seymour Alpass, of Makuri, Farmer, to use water for the purpose of generating electricity.

Revoking a Previous Order in Council and Reapportioning Representation on the Central Waikato Electric Power Board

Present:
The Right Hon. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes, as from the date of the next general election of the representatives of the constituent districts of the Central Waikato Electric Power District, the Order in Council, dated the 4th day of October 1950 and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 5th day of the same month at page 1810, reapportioning representation on the Central Waikato Electric Power Board, and hereby determines in lieu thereof that on and after the said date the number of representatives of each constituent district on the said Board shall be the number specified in the Schedule hereto opposite the name of that constituent district.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the assignment to Wallace Elmslie Webber, of French Pass, Sheep Farmer, by Edward Johnson Orry Hope, John Roland Skimmerdale Hope, Edgar Selwyn Hope, and Harold Barker Shepherd Hope, trading in partnership under the firm name of Hope Brothers, of French Pass, Sheep Farmers, of their rights, powers, and privileges under an Order in Council, dated the 23rd day of April 1940 and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 2nd day of May 1940 at page 979, authorizing them to use water for the purpose of generating electricity.

Authorizing the Morningside Timber Company, Limited, to Erect and Use Certain Electric Lines in the County of Waitomo

ORDER IN COUNCIL

The Right Hon. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency The Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby grants, subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, a licence authorizing the Morningside Timber Company, Limited, a company duly incorporated under the Companies Act 1933 and having its registered office at Auckland (hereinafter referred to as the licensee), to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto.
CONDITIONS
IMPLIED CONDITIONS
- The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated herein and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.
LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS
- The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference Regulations 1934, and with all regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.
SYSTEM OF SUPPLY
- The system of supply shall be classified under paragraph (j) of regulation 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and shall be a direct-current system at a normal rated pressure of 32 volts.
DURATION OF LICENCE
- Unless sooner lawfully determined, this licence shall continue in force until the 31st day of March 1974 or until electrical energy is available from an Electric Power Board or some other public source of supply, whichever is the earlier.
SCHEDULE
Lines for the supply of electrical energy by the system of supply hereinbefore described, commencing from the licensee's generator and proceeding as follows:
(a) In a northerly direction to a grocery store.
(b) In an easterly direction to a cookhouse.
(c) In a north-westerly direction generally to a hall.
All being situated in State Forest 96, Block XIV, Ranginui Survey District, in the County of Waitomo.
The said lines being more particularly shown by means of blue lines on the plan marked S.H.D. 250, deposited in the office of the State Hydro-electric Department at Wellington.
