A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and also hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as road the land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as road:
1 acre 3 roods 12.7 perches.
Being Lot 42, D.P. 16872, being part Rural Section 184A, situated in Block XII, Christchurch Survey District, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificates of title, Volume 140, folio 242, and Volume 547, folio 190 (Canterbury Land Registry).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 19th day of August 1953.

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 24th day of August 1953
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 31 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1948 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council,
hereby authorizes the Te Puke Borough Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its length of less than 66 ft., but not less than 50 ft., subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on Lots 2 to 8 inclusive, or on Lots 10 to 16 inclusive, of a subdivision of the land fronting the said street (as shown on the plan marked P.W.D. 140453 referred to in the Schedule hereto) or on that part of Lot 91, D.P. 10863, fronting the said street (as shown on the said plan marked P.W.D. 140453) within a distance of 40 ft., from the centre line of the said street.
SCHEDULE
THAT proposed street in the South Auckland Land District, Borough of Te Puke, to be known as Gisborne Road, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 33.6 perches, more or less, being Lots 17 and 18 on a plan lodged for deposit under No. S 1840 (Auckland Land Registry), being parts Lot 91, D.P. 10863, and being part Section 14, Block II, Maketu Survey District.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 140453, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
