Land Taken for Street in the City of Wanganui

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wanganui as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 17th day of August 1953.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road, and that the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 17th day of August 1953.

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as street the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and also hereby proclaim as closed the street described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE

LAND PROCLAIMED AS STREET

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as street: 3 roods 25 perches.

Being part Reserve 1463; coloured sepia.

SECOND SCHEDULE

STREET CLOSED

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as road the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as road: 0·71 perches.

Being Lot 2, D.P. 4396, being part Section 54, situated in Block II, Kawatiri Survey District, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 108, folio 16 (Nelson Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 11th day of August 1953.
