Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work and Not Required for that Purpose to be Crown Land, and Revoking Previous Proclamation

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 25th day of June 1953, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 36 of the 2nd day of July 1953 at page 993, declaring land acquired for a Government work and not required for that purpose to be Crown land, and hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land declared to be Crown land:

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the development of water-power; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 17th day of August 1953.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 1 rood 12·9 perches.
Being closed road passing through Section 70.
Situated in Block V, Moeraki Survey District (Otago R.D.). (S.O. 11638.)
In the Otago Land District, as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 139517, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 5th day of August 1953.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for buildings of the General Government; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 17th day of August 1953.

Pursuant to section 25 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the purposes of a public school (teacher’s residence); and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 17th day of August 1953.

Situated in Block I, Kaniere Survey District (Westland R.D.). (S.O. 4628.)
