Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS by an Order in Council dated the 3rd day of
September 1952, and published in the New Zealand
Gazette of the 4th day of that month, the control of the land
described in the Schedule to that document, being a reserve
for a site for a public hall, was vested in certain persons
therein named, who were by the said Order in Council con-
stituted a special Board, by the name of the Taurikura Public
Hall Board, pursuant to section 17 of the Public Reserves and
Domains Act 1928:
And whereas it is desirable that George Ernest Tiller
should be appointed a member of the said Board in place of
William James Crook, deceased:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 17 of the Public
Reserves and Domains Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-
General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council, hereby appoints the said
George Ernest Tiller
to be a member of the Taurikura Public Hall Board, con-
stituted by the Order in Council dated 3rd September 1952
hereinbefore referred to, in place of the said William James
Crook, deceased.

acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council, hereby appoints
Reuel Gilbert Kennedy,
Roland Craige Meredith Kennedy,
Douglas Massey McCartie, and
Llewellyn Spence Mantle
to be the Tahora Domain Board, having control of the land
described in the Schedule hereto, and hereby appoints
Saturday, the 1st day of August 1953, at 8 o'clock p.m., as
the time when, and the Tahora Public Hall, Tahora, as the
place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in Taranaki Land Distric

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a
reserve duly set apart for a telegraph station:
And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the
reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for
municipal buildings:
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (1) (a) of section
7 of the Public Reserves and Domains Act 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares
that the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule
hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for a telegraph
station to a reserve for municipal buildings.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a
reserve for gravel purposes, and is vested, in trust, in
the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of
Pahiatua:
And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said
land as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and
the Pahiatua County Council has duly consented to such
cancellation:
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (1) of section 10
of the Public Reserves and Domains Act 1928, His Excellency
the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council, hereby cancels the vesting in
the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of
Pahiatua, of the land described in the Schedule hereto.
