said; thence along a right line to and along the south-western

deposited as aforesaid, being part of Hinuera No. 2 aforesaid,
to the western corner of the last-mentioned lot; thence north-
easterly generally along the north-western and eastern boun-
daries of Lot 8A aforesaid, the north-eastern boundary of
Lot 10, as shown on the aforesaid plan numbered 2757, and
the north-western boundary of Lot 1, as shown on the plan
numbered 27787, deposited as aforesaid, being part of the
aforesaid block, to the northernmost corner of the last-
mentioned lot; thence along the eastern boundary of Lot 9A,

Lot 7, as shown on the plan numbered 17890, deposited as
aforesaid, being part of Te Pae-O-tu-Rawaru No. 2c 1 and
2c 2 Blocks, to the south-western corner of the last-mentioned
lot; thence northerly along the south-western boundary of
Lot 7 aforesaid, the western boundaries of Lots 6, 5, 4, part

Cambridge Survey District, the western boundary of part of

Altering and Redefining the Boundaries of the Cambridge
Rabbit District (Notice No. Ag. 5473)

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 22nd day of
July 1953
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Rabbit Nuisance Act 1928 and to section
29 of the Rabbit Nuisance Amendment Act 1947, His
Excellency the Governor-General, at the request of the Minister
of Agriculture, made on the recommendation of the Rabbit
Destruction Council, and acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council, hereby
- Alters and redefines the boundaries of the Cambridge
Rabbit District by--
(a) Adding thereto the area of land the boundaries of
which are described in the First Schedule hereto;
(b) Excluding an area therefrom.
- Declares that the boundaries of the said district as so
altered and redefined shall be those set forth in the Second
Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE AREA TO BE ADDED TO THE CAMBRIDGE
RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District of
approximately 35,600 acres in the County of Waikato and
the Borough of Cambridge, bounded by a line commencing
at a point in the middle of the Waikato River and in line
with the south-eastern boundary of the City of Hamilton
and running north-easterly generally along a right line to
and along the south-eastern boundary of the City of Hamilton
aforesaid, to and along the middle of the Hamilton-Paeroa
State Highway, along the middle of Tram Road, the middle
of Tauwhare Road, and along the middle of the Cambridge-
Eureka Main Highway to a point in line with the middle of
Scotchman's Valley Road; thence southerly generally along
the middle of Scotchman's Valley Road aforesaid, to and
along the middle of Ranstead's Road, along the middle of
Hill Road, along the middle of the aforesaid Cambridge-
Eureka Main Highway, to and along the middle of Beer's
Road to the north-western boundary of the Maungakawa
Rabbit District as described in the New Zealand Gazette
No. 18, of the 24th day of March 1949, page 151; thence
south-easterly along the north-western and south-western
boundaries of the aforesaid Maungakawa Rabbit District to
the middle of Maungakawa Road; thence south-easterly
generally along the middle of that road, to and along the
middle of Thornton Road to a point in line with the western
boundary of Allotment 236, Hautapu Parish; thence along a
right line, to and along the western boundary of the aforesaid
Allotment 236, to and down the middle of the Karapiro
Stream, to and along the eastern boundary of the Borough of
Cambridge to the middle of the Waikato River; thence north-
westerly generally down the middle of the aforesaid Waikato
River to the point of commencement.
SECOND SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE CAMBRIDGE RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District of
approximately 82,200 acres in the Counties of Waikato, Piako,
and Matamata, and the Cambridge Borough, bounded by a
line commencing at a point in the middle of the Waikato
River and in line with the south-eastern boundary of the City
of Hamilton and running north-easterly generally along a
right line to and along the south-eastern boundary of the
City of Hamilton aforesaid, to and along the middle of the
Hamilton-Paeroa State Highway, along the middle of Tram
Road, the middle of Tauwhare Road, and along the middle of
the Cambridge-Eureka Main Highway to a point in line with
the middle of Scotchman's Valley Road; thence southerly
generally along the middle of Scotchman's Valley Road
aforesaid, to and along the middle of Ranstead's Road, along
the middle of Hill Road, along the middle of the aforesaid
Cambridge-Eureka Main Highway, to and along the middle
of Beer's Road to a point in line with the north-western
boundary of Section 2 of Fencourt Settlement; thence north-
easterly generally along a right line, to and along the north-
western boundary of Section 2 aforesaid, along the northern
boundary of Section 35s, the north-western boundaries of
Lot 1 of 34s, Section 103s, and part Section 33s, the western
and northern boundaries of Section 83s, the northern boundary
of Section 91s, the abutment of a public road, and the northern
boundary of Section 92s, to the southernmost corner of Section
72s, all the aforesaid Sections being of Te Miro Settlement;
thence along a right line, across Section 72s aforesaid, to
Trig. Station No. 705, Tataenui, in Block XIV, Maungakawa
Survey District; thence along the north-eastern boundary of
the said Section 72s, to and along the western and north-
eastern boundaries of the land shown on the plan numbered
28351, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar
at Auckland, being parts of Kiwitahi Numbers 3c and 3B
Blocks, the north-eastern boundary of Section 24s of Te Miro
Settlement aforesaid, the north-eastern boundary of Kiwitahi
No. 2E Block, and along a right line, being the last-mentioned
boundary produced across waterworks Road, to and along
the north-western and north-eastern boundaries of Kiwitahi
No. 1p 2 Block to its easternmost corner; thence southerly
generally along the western boundary of part of Lot 3, as
shown on the plan numbered 5151, deposited as aforesaid,
being part of Pae-O-tu-Rawaru No. 2A Block, the western
boundary of Section 1, Block III, Cambridge Survey District,
the western boundaries of part of Lot 1, part of Lot 2, Lots
4, 5, 6, and 7, as shown on the plan numbered 17890,
deposited as aforesaid, being part of Te Pae-O-tu-Rawaru
No. 2c 1 and 2c 2 Blocks to the south-western corner of the
last-mentioned lot; thence easterly generally along the
southern boundaries of Lot 7, the south-eastern and south-
western boundaries of part of Lot 8, as shown on the aforesaid
plan numbered 17890, along the southern and eastern boun-
daries of Section 7, Block IV, Cambridge Survey District, to
and along the northern boundary of Block VIII, Cambridge
Survey District, to the western boundary of Section 2 of
Block VIII, aforesaid; thence south-westerly generally along
the western boundary of the aforesaid Section 2 and along a
right line, being that boundary produced to the middle of the
Mangapapa Stream, to and along the northern boundary of
Lot 1, as shown on the plan numbered 31286, deposited as
aforesaid, being part of Section 136, Matamata Settlement,
along the eastern, north-eastern, and north-western boundaries
of Lot 2, as shown on the plan numbered C 37, lodged in the
