Amending an Order in Council Re-apportioning Representation
on the Waitemata Electric-power Board

At the Government House at Wellington, this 1st day of
July 1953

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Electric-power Boards Act 1925, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
amends the Order in Council, dated the 12th day of April
1944 and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 13th
day of the same month at page 359, revoking previous
Orders in Council and re-apportioning representation on the
Waitemata Electric-power Board, by deleting from the
Schedule thereto the words “Town District of Glen Eden”,
“Town District of Helensville”, and “Town District of
Henderson”, and substituting therefor the words “Borough
of Glen Eden”, “Borough of Helensville”, and “Borough
of Henderson”, respectively.

Authorizing the Laying-off of Streets in the City of Auckland,
Subject to a Condition as to the Building-lines

At the Government House at Wellington, this 1st day of
July 1953

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 31 of the Municipal Corporations
Amendment Act 1948 and section 125 of the Public
Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council,
hereby authorizes the Auckland City Council to permit the
laying-off of the proposed streets described in the Schedule
hereto at a width for part of their lengths of less than 66 ft
but not less than 54 ft, subject to the condition that no
building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on
the land fronting the proposed streets within a distance of
48 ft from the centre-lines of the said streets.


SCHEDULE

THAT proposed street in the North Auckland Land District,
City of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 19
perches, more or less, being part Lots 15 and 16, D.P. 18321,
being part Allotments 33 and 38A, District of Tamaki.

Also that proposed street in the said land district and
city, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 38 perches, more
or less, being part Lot 16, D.P. 18321, being part Allotment 33,
District of Tamaki.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 140496, deposited in the office of the Minister
of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 31 of the Municipal Corporations
Amendment Act 1948 and section 125 of the Public Works
Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
authorizes the Oamaru Borough Council to lay-off the proposed
street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part
of its length of less than 66 ft but not less than 50 ft, subject
to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at
any time be erected on the land fronting the said street within
a distance of 40 ft from the centre-line of the said street.


SCHEDULE

THAT proposed street in the Otago Land District, Borough of
Oamaru, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood 31·7
perches, more or less, being part Lot 42, D.P. 7685, being part
Reserve D, Town of Oamaru (Borough of Oamaru). (Otago
R.D.).

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 140438, deposited in the office of the Minister
of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

the Borough of Papatoetoe, Subject to Conditions as to
the Building-line

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 31 of the Municipal Corporations
Amendment Act 1948, and section 125 of the Public
Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council,
hereby authorizes the Papatoetoe Borough Council to permit
the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule
hereto at a width for part of its length of less than 66 ft
but not less than 50 ft, subject to the condition that no building
or part of a building shall at any time be erected on Lot 2
of a subdivision of the land shown edged green on the P.W.D.
plan referred to in the Schedule hereto, within a distance of
40 ft from the centre-line of the said street, or on the balance
of the land shown edged green on the said P.W.D. plan,
within a distance of 48 ft from the centre-line of the said
street.


SCHEDULE

THAT proposed street in the North Auckland Land District,
Borough of Papatoetoe, containing by admeasurement 3 roods
33 perches, more or less, being part Lots 11 and 12, D.P. 6602,
being part Allotment 36, Manurewa Parish.

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan

of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
