Defining the Middle-line of the Awakaponga-Kawerau Railway

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of the Awakaponga-Kawerau Railway shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall affect only that land situated within the limits shown edged red on the the plan marked P.W.D. 140142 referred to in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

As the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 140142, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works, at Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 19th day of June 1953.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of the Kawerau-Te Teko Railway shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall affect only that land situated within the limits shown edged red on the plan marked P.W.D. 140143 referred to in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
Commencing at a point marked 0 miles on plan P.W.D. 140143 on the middle line of the Awakaponga-Kawerau Railway approximately 7 miles 2 chains from its junction with the East Coast Main Trunk Railway and proceeding thence in an easterly direction generally for a distance of 2 miles 77 chains and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c., viz., Section 19, Block IX, Rangitaiki Upper Survey District (C.T. 1033/81); Section 20, Block IX, Rangitaiki Upper Survey District (R.B. 959/45); Section 18, Block IX, Rangitaiki Upper Survey District (R.B. 647/196); Section 3, Block X, Rangitaiki Upper Survey District (R.B. 647/194); Section 4, Block X, Rangitaiki Upper Survey District (R.B. 959/43); Allotment 128, Matata Parish (R.B. 909/176); Lot 2, D.P. 15280 (C.T. 349/96); Section 1s, Te Ngaroa Settlement (R.B. 432/166); Te Teko A 1 and A 2 Blocks and Te Teko Roadline (C.T. 158/286); Te Teko A 3 Block (C.T. 700/98); Te Teko A 4 Block (C.T. 691/17); Allotment 233, Matata Parish (R.B. 688/38); and terminating at a point marked 2 miles 77 chains on plan P.W.D. 140143 in the aforesaid Allotment 233 on the middle line of the Edgecumbe-Murupara Railway (Proclamation S. 15809); including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses; all in the South Auckland Land District.
As the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 140143, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Defining the Middle-line of the Sockburn-Styx Railway, and Revoking Previous Proclamations

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 13th day of May 1947, and published in the Gazette of the 15th day of the same month, at page 574, defining the middle-line of the Sockburn-Styx Railway, and further revoke the Proclamation dated the 20th day of July 1951, and published in the Gazette of the 26th day of the same month, at page 1035, amending the aforesaid Proclamation, and hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of the Sockburn-Styx Railway shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall affect only that land situated within a distance of 10 chains on either side of the middle-line hereby defined.

SCHEDULE
