Land Reserved Under the Scenery Preservation Act 1908

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act 1908 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), has recommended that the land described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:
Now, therefore, pursuant to the said Act, I Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be a scenic reserve under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT
SECTION 9, Block VI, Takaka Survey District: Area, 84 acres 3 roods 8 perches, more or less. (S.O. plan 4703.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 19th day of June 1953.

Land Subject to the Housing Act 1919 Declared Crown Land Available for Reservation Under the Land Act 1948

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to subsection (1) of section 8 of the Housing Amendment Act 1940, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, being land subject to the Housing Act 1919, to be Crown land available for reservation under the Land Act 1948.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
Lot 10, Deposited Plan No. 39979, being part Allotment 257, Waikomiti Parish, situated in Block III, Titirangi Survey District: Area, 8.9 perches, more or less. Part certificate of title, Volume 599, folio 124. (S.O. plan 37647.)

Trustee of Oamaru Racecourse Appointed

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS John Leo O'Connor was appointed to be a trustee of the Oamaru Racecourse under the provisions of an Ordinance of the Provincial Council of Otago intituled the Oamaru Racecourse Reserve Management Ordinance 1870: And whereas the said John Leo O'Connor has resigned his office as trustee, and it is therefore necessary to appoint another person to be a trustee in the place of the said John Leo O'Connor:
Now, therefore, pursuant to the powers and authorities vested in me by the aforesaid Ordinance and by subsection (2) of section 29 of the Acts Interpretation Act, 1924, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby appoint Allan James McKenzie to be a permanent trustee and member of the corporate body appointed under the said Oamaru Racecourse Reserve Management Ordinance, 1870, by the name and style of 'The Trustees of the Oamaru Racecourse,' in the place of the said John Leo O'Connor.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 19th day of June 1953.
