(a) Within the Otago Electric-power District as described in the Proclamations referred to hereunder:-

(b) Within the Outer Area as at present constituted of the Otago Electric-power District but excluding therefrom the area described as follows: All that area of land in the Otago Land District, being part of the County of Tuapeka, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the northern boundary of the Teviot Survey District, being the north-western corner of the Tuapeka County, and proceeding in an easterly direction along the northern boundary of the said County to the eastern bank of the Clutha River, being a point on the western boundary of the Teviot Electric-power District; thence southerly generally along the said western boundary to its intersection with the south-eastern boundary of Run 593B, Wart Hill Survey District; thence south-westerly and southerly along the south-eastern boundaries of Runs 593B and 593A, Wart Hill Survey District, and the eastern boundaries of Runs 595 and 612, Wart Hill Survey District, to the southern boundary of the Wart Hill Survey District; thence westerly along the said southern boundary to the eastern bank of the Pomahaka River; thence southerly generally along the said eastern bank to the confluence of the Pomahaka and Leithen Rivers, being a point on the western boundary of the Tuapeka County; thence north-westerly and north-easterly generally along the said western boundary to the point of commencement, the above-described area being more particularly shown edged red on the plan marked S.H.D. 244, deposited in the office of the State Hydro-electric Department at Wellington.

SECOND SCHEDULE
ORDER IN COUNCIL REVOKED
THE Order in Council dated the 10th day of November 1924, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 13th day of the same month, authorizing the licensee to use certain electric lines, as amended by the Order in Council dated the 23rd day of March 1949, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 13th day of April 1949, at page 902.

Authorizing William John McEwan, of Maungati, Farmer, to Erect and Use Certain Electric Lines in the County of Waimate

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 17th day of June 1953
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes William John McEwan, of Maungati, Farmer (hereinafter referred to as the licensee) subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto.

CONDITIONS
IMPLIED CONDITIONS

  1. The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated herein and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.

LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS
2. The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference Regulations 1934, and with all regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.

SYSTEM OF SUPPLY

  1. The system of supply shall be an alternating-current system as described in paragraph (d) of regulation 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935.

DURATION OF LICENCE

  1. Unless sooner lawfully determined this licence shall continue in force until the 31st day of March 1974 or until electrical energy is available from an Electric-power Board or some other public source of supply, whichever is the earlier.

SCHEDULE
UNDERGROUND cable for the supply of electrical energy by the system of supply hereinbefore described, commencing from the licensee's powerhouse situated in part Lot 7, D.P. 2040, Block V, Otaio Survey District, in the County of Waimate, and proceeding in a westerly direction to the Maungati Automatic Telephone Exchange situated in part Lot 7, D.P. 2040 aforesaid. The said cable being more particularly shown by means of a blue line on the plan marked S.H.D. 243, deposited in the office of the State Hydro-electric Department at Wellington.

Altering and Redefining the Boundaries of the Albury Rabbit District-(Notice No. Ag. 5442)

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Rabbit Nuisance Act 1928 and to section 29 of the Rabbit Nuisance Amendment Act 1947, His Excellency the Governor-General, at the request of the Minister of Agriculture, made on the recommendation of the Rabbit Destruction Council and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby-
(1) Alters and redefines the boundaries of the Albury Rabbit District by adding thereto the area of land the boundaries of which are described in the First Schedule hereto;
(2) Declares that the boundaries of the said district as so altered and redefined shall be those set forth in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE AREA TO BE ADDED TO THE ALBURY RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the County of Mackenzie, Canterbury Land District, containing approximately 9,830 acres, commencing at a point on the western boundary of the Albury Rabbit District, at the southernmost corner of Rural Section 36478, Block IV, Mackenzie Survey District; thence north-easterly and south-easterly along the said western boundary of the Albury Rabbit District (N.Z. Gazette No. 43, 31 May 1951, page 774) to the south-eastern corner of Section 1, Mount Nessing Settlement, Block IX, Opawa Survey District; thence westerly along the southern boundary of said Section 1 and that boundary produced to the middle of the Hakataramaea River; thence northerly along the middle of that river, being the boundary of the Hakataramaea Valley and Mackenzie Rabbit Districts, to and along the western boundary of Section 1, Block VIII, and Section 1, Block IV, Chamberlain Settlement, to the southernmost corner of Rural Section 36478, the point of commencement.

SECOND SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE ALBURY RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Counties of Waimate, Mackenzie, and Levels, Canterbury Land District, containing approximately 135,280 acres, commencing at a point at the confluence of the Rivers Opihi and Opuha, thence in a south-easterly direction down the centre of the River Opihi to a point opposite the Three Mile Bush Road, Block XIV, Opihi Survey District; thence to and along that road in a south-westerly direction to the south-west boundary of Rural Section 18519; thence along the south-western and south-eastern boundaries of that Section, the north-eastern boundary of Rural Section 21103, and the north-western and south-western boundaries of Rural Section 2011 to a road on the eastern boundary of Rural Section 21103; thence in a southerly direction along that road to its intersection with the road passing through Rural Sections 18877 and 18876, Block I, Pareora Survey District; thence in a south-easterly direction along the last-mentioned road to the Sterndale Valley Road on the south-eastern boundary of Rural Section 18020; thence south-westerly along that road to and along the road on the southern side of Rural Section 19624, to and along Clellands Road on the east side of Rural Section 18372, to and along Zig Zag Road on the east side of Rural Section 18663, across the River Tengawai to Fairlie Road; thence westerly along that road passing by Cave Railway-station to the Mackenzie County boundary (N.Z. Gazette No. 97, 23 November 1911, page 3509); thence following that boundary in a southerly and westerly direction to the Cannington Bridge; thence generally north-westerly
