Revoking the Reservation Over a Reserve in Rewa Survey District, Wellington Land District

Present:
The Hon. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to subsection (1) (b) of section 7 of the Public Reserves and Domains Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes the reservation for cemetery purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and hereby declares that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act 1948.

Vesting a Reserve in the Marlborough County Council

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for a public hall site:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Marlborough:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 9 of the Public Reserves and Domains Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Marlborough, in trust, for a public hall site.

Flying Officer Trevor Ernest WOODFIELD (132540) is transferred from the Air Force Reserve to the Active List for a period of two years with the rank of Flying Officer and with seniority as from 8 July 1950, to be followed by a period of four years in the Air Force Reserve. Dated 7 January 1953.

Flight Lieutenant Alfred George Edward PUGH (70142) is granted an extension of his commission for a period of five years. Dated 2 August 1952.

Thomas Erskine NFAVE (133867) is granted a commission in the General Duties Branch of the Active Reserve for a period of four years, with the temporary rank of Flight Lieutenant and with seniority as from 17 July 1944. Dated 18 March 1953.
George Stewart PURVIS, M.B., Ch.B. (133842) is granted a commission in the Medical Branch of the General Reserve for a period of four years, with the temporary rank of Flying Officer and with seniority as from 6 October 1950. Dated 6 October 1952.
