EVIDENCE of the loss of certificate of title, Volume 310,
folio 164 (Canterbury Registry), for 20 perches, or thereabouts,
situated in the City of Christchurch, being part of Lot 5 on
Deposited Plan No. 566, part of Rural Section 17573, in the name
of THOMAS HENRY STRAHAN, of Christchurch, Taxi-cab
Proprietor, having been lodged with me together with an application
for the issue of a new certificate of title in lieu thereof, notice is
hereby given of my intention to issue such new certificate of title
upon the expiration of fourteen days from the date of the Gazette
containing this notice.

HOWICK BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Howick Borough Council Supplementary Development Loan

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926 the Howick
Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £2,660, authorized to be raised by the Howick
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose
of completing the work for which the Howick Development Loan
1950 was authorized to be raised, the said Howick Borough Council
hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·072 of a penny in the
pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the rating
district comprising the whole of the Borough of Howick; and that
such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April
in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a
period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
