Determining that No. 1 Licensing Authority Shall Have
Certain Jurisdiction in Respect of a Licence
PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 99 of the Transport
Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby determines
that the No. 1 Licensing Authority shall have authority to
exercise jurisdiction in respect of the licence described in the
Schedule hereto for the purpose of reviewing the licence
following a direction for that purpose issued by the Minister
under section 116 (2) of the said Act, and for the purpose
of taking any action deemed by the Licensing Authority to
be desirable in respect of the said licence following such
review.
SCHEDULE
LICENCE No. A 5994 for a goods service in the name of the
' Hon. Minister of Railways, Wellington.'

Notice of Intention to Take Land in the Borough of Otaki for
a Public School
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed under the
provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a
certain public workβto wit, the construction of a public
schoolβand for the purposes of such public work the land
described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken:
And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land
so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at
Otaki and is there open for inspection; and that all persons
affected by the execution of the said public work or by the
taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded
objections to the execution of the said public work or to the
taking of such land, set forth for the same in writing, and send
such writing, within forty days from the first publication of
this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Notice of Intention to Take an Easement Over Land in Block
XVI, Maraekakaho Survey District, for Broadcasting
Purposes
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the
provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take
an easement for broadcasting purposes over the land described
in the Schedule hereto, vesting in Her Majesty the Queen,
the full and free right, liberty, licence, and authority in
perpetuity to take water from a spring situated on the said
land and for that purpose to carry out any works that are
deemed necessary by Her Majesty the Queen to provide an
unpolluted and adequate supply of water to the land in
Proclamation No. 1742 (Hawke's Bay Land Registry), and
secondly, the full and free right, liberty, licence, and authority
in perpetuity to convey water from the said spring along,
under, or over the said land and for that purpose to lay,
construct, place, and maintain a line of pipes along, under, or
over the said land, such easement to be held appurtenant to the
land in the said Proclamation No. 1742; and notice is
hereby further given that the plan of the land over which the
above described easement is required to be taken is deposited
in the post-office at Pukehou and is there open for inspection;
and that all persons affected by the taking of the said easement
should, if they have any well grounded objection to the taking
of such easement, set forth the same in writing and send
such writing, within forty days from the first publication of
this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land over which the above
described easement is required to be taken: 12.2 perches.

provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take
additional land described in the Schedule hereto for the
purposes of a Maori school: And notice is hereby further
given that a plan of the land required to be taken is deposited
in the post-office at Kaitaia and is there open for inspection,
and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land
should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the
taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send
such writing, within forty days from the first publication of
this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land required to
be taken: 1 acre.
Being part Oturu No. 2D No. 3A Block.
Situated in Block II, Takahue Survey District (Auckland
R.D.).
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is
more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D.

The Drug Tariff (September 1946), Amendment No. 20
PURSUANT to section 90 of the Social Security Act 1938,
the Minister of Health hereby issues the following
direction.
-
(1) This direction may be cited as the Drug Tariff
(September 1946), Amendment No. 20, and shall be read to-
gether with and deemed part of the Drug Tariff (September
1946)* (hereinafter referred to as the principal direction).
(2) This direction shall come into force on the 16th day
of May 1953. -
(1) The reference in Part 2 of the New Zealand
Formulary to the Schedules and Rules of Prescription Pricing
shall, where applicable, be deemed to be a reference to the
Prescription Pricing Supplement 1953/2 issued by the
Pharmacy Plan Industrial Committee.
(2) For the purpose of payment of pharmaceutical
benefits claims, the pricing of a medical prescription in accord-
ance with subclause (1) of this clause shall apply to all
claims and supporting prescriptions whatever the date thereof
that are received by a Medical Officer of Health on or after
the date of the commencement of this direction.
