The Rangiora Milk Delivery Notice 1953

Pursuant to the Milk Delivery Regulations 1949*, the Minister of Agriculture doth hereby give notice as follows:—

  1. This notice may be cited as the Rangiora Milk Delivery Notice 1953.
  2. This notice shall come into force on the Monday following the publication thereof in the Gazette.
  3. The Rangiora Milk Delivery Notice 1948 and Amendments thereof,† are hereby revoked.
  4. The Scheme set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby provided for the district described in the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE

THE RANGIORA MILK DELIVERY SCHEME 1953

(1) For the purpose of this scheme, unless the context otherwise requires,—
‘‘ The district ’’ means the Rangiora Borough as indicated on the plan.
‘‘ The plan ’’ means the plan of the district deposited for the purposes of this scheme in the District Office of the Marketing Division, Department of Agriculture, Mandeville Street, Christchurch, under No. M.M.D. 9.
‘‘ Zone ’’ means a zone of the district marked on the said plan.
‘‘ Milk ’’ includes cream.

(2) Subject to the foregoing provisions of this scheme, the names and addresses of the vendors who are parties to this scheme and the areas in which they may deliver milk are as follows:—

  2. Arthur Robert Morrise, 52 White Street, Rangiora
    In zone No. 2, as marked in black on the plan.

    In zone No. 3, as marked in red on the plan.
  4. Arthur Samuel Royfee, Coronation Road, Southbrook
    In zone No. 4, as marked in blue on the plan.

The Levin Milk Delivery Notice 1952, Amendment No. 1

Pursuant to the Milk Delivery Regulations 1949*, the Minister of Agriculture doth hereby give notice as follows:—

  1. This notice may be cited as the Levin Milk Delivery Notice 1952, Amendment No. 1, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Levin Milk Delivery Notice 1952† (hereinafter referred to as the principal scheme).
  2. Clause 4 of the principal scheme is hereby amended by revoking the words ‘‘ H. B. Cuff, Winchester Street, Levin ’’, and substituting therefor the words ‘‘ J. E. Burt, Bartholomew Road, Levin ’’, and is amended further by revoking the words ‘‘ Lamb and Young, Mako Mako Road, Levin ’’, and substituting therefor the words ‘‘ P. G. Espiner, Dudley Street, Levin ’’.

Plant Declared a Noxious Weed in the Hokianga County (Notice No. Ag. 5424)

Pursuant to the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Minister of Agriculture hereby publishes the following special order made by the Hokianga County Council on the 22nd day of April 1953.

SPECIAL ORDER

In pursuance of the powers conferred on it under section 3 (1) of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Hokianga County Council by way of special order, hereby declares the under-mentioned plant, as included in the first Schedule to the said Act, to be a noxious weed within the County of Hokianga.

Water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes).

Plants Declared Noxious Weeds in the Kenepuru Road District (Notice No. Ag. 5425)

Pursuant to the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Minister of Agriculture hereby publishes the following special order made by the Kenepuru Road Board on the 19th day of September 1951.

SPECIAL ORDER

THAT the Kenepuru Road Board declares the following plants, being some of those listed in the First Schedule to the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, to be noxious weeds within the Kenepuru Road Board area, viz.—

Cape tulip (Homeria collina).
Gorse (Ulex, any species).
Hawthorn (Crataegus oxyacantha and Crataegus monogyna).
Heath (Erica lusitanica and Erica arborea).
Hemlock (Conium maculatum).
Nassella tussock (Nassella trichotoma).
Ragwort (Senecio jacobaea).
St. John’s wort (Hypericum perforatum).
Tutsan (Hypericum androsaceum).

Plants Declared Noxious Weeds in the Clutha County (Notice No. Ag. 5426)

Pursuant to the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Minister of Agriculture hereby publishes the following special order made by the Clutha County Council on the 28th day of April 1953.

SPECIAL ORDER

In exercise of the powers conferred by the Noxious Weeds Act 1950 the Clutha County Council hereby resolves and declares by way of special order—

(a) That all the plants mentioned or included at any time and from time to time in the First Schedule of the said Act are noxious weeds within the County of Clutha.
(b) That all declarations previously made are hereby revoked.

Plants Declared Noxious Weeds in Portion of the Sounds County (Notice No. Ag. 5428)

Pursuant to section 3 (2) of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Minister of Agriculture hereby declares the plants described in the Schedule hereto to be noxious weeds within the whole of the Sounds County except the Croixelles, French Pass, and Kenepuru Road Districts.
