Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in Christchurch Survey District, Canterbury Land District

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 5th day of May 1953
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart for plantation purposes:
And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for a site for a Boy Scouts' Hall:
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (1) (a) of section 7 of the Public Reserves and Domains Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for plantation purposes to a reserve for a site for a Boy Scouts' Hall.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area situated in Block VIII, Christchurch Survey District, containing by admeasurement 28-6 perches, more or less, being Reserve 4144, also described as Lot 1 as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Christchurch under No. 7611 being part Rural Section 24361 and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 337, folio 306 (Canterbury Registry).

And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for recreation purposes:
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (1) (a) of section 7 of the Public Reserves and Domains Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for a site for a public pound to a reserve for recreation purposes.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for recreation purposes:
And whereas in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 9 of the Public Reserves and Domains Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland, in trust, for recreation purposes.
SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL those areas situated in Block VIII, Rangitoto Survey District, containing by admeasurement a total of 4 acres 3 roods 28-8 perches, more or less, being Lots 1 to 13 (inclusive), and Lots 24 to 31 (inclusive), as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under No. 24664, and being parts Allotments 203 to 210 (inclusive), 212, 237, and 244, Section 16, Suburbs of Auckland. Subject to the reservations and conditions imposed by Section 59 of the Land Act 1948.

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 4 acres 3 roods 35-7 perches, more or less, being Section 49, Block III, Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 361, folio 219 (Otago Registry), subject to the rights created by Transfer No. 181914. Subject to the reservations and conditions imposed by section 59 of the Land Act, 1948. (S.O. plan 11445.)

Cancelling the Vesting of a Reserve in the Ashburton County Council

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 5th day of May 1953
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve for a site for a public pound, and is vested, in trust, in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Ashburton:
And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said land as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the Ashburton County Council has duly consented to such cancellation:
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (1) of section 10 of the Public Reserves and Domains Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby cancels the vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Ashburton of the land described in the Schedule hereto.
