Recreation Reserve in Otago Land District Brought Under

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 27th day of
April 1953
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 34 of the Public Reserves and
Domains Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council, hereby orders and declares that the reserve for recrea-
tion in the Otago Land District described in the Schedule
hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the
operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of
Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter form
part of the Taieri Lake Domain, and be managed, adminis-
tered, and dealt was as a public domain by the Taieri Lake
Domain Board.
SCHEDULE
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT
SECTION 229, Town of Komako: Area, 5 acres 1 rood 25
perches, more or less. Subject to the reservations and
conditions imposed by section 59 of the Land Act 1948. (S.O.

PURSUANT to section 34 of the Public Reserves and
Domains Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council, hereby orders and declares that the reserves for
recreation in the Wellington Land District described in the
Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby brought
under the operation of and declared to be subject to the
provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserves shall
hereafter form part of the Titahi Bay Domain, and shall be
managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain by
the Titahi Bay Domain Board.
SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area situated in Block XI, Paekakariki Survey
District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres and 28 perches,
more or less, being Lot 72 as shown on a plan deposited in the
Land Registry Office at Wellington under No. 7626, being part
College Reserve. (Recorded in D.I. 4/667.)
Also all that area situated in Block XI, Paekakariki
Survey District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood
2.1 perches, more or less, being Lot 14 as shown on a plan
deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington under
No. 9622, being part Section 110, Porirua District, and being
part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title,
Volume 293, folio 41 (Wellington Registry).

PURSUANT to section 34 of the Public Reserves and
Domains Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council, hereby orders and declares that the reserve for
recreation in the Gisborne Land District described in the
Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought
under the operation of and declared to be subject to the
provisions of Part II of the said Act; and such reserve shall
hereafter be known as the Makarori Beach Domain, and be
managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain.
SCHEDULE
GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT
ALL those areas situated in Block IVA, Turanganui Survey
District, containing by admeasurement a total of 18 acres
and 36 perches, more or less, being Lots 24, 25, 36, and 65
as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at
Gisborne under No. 3963, being part Pouawa No. 1 Block.

Domains Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council, hereby orders and declares that the land described in
the Schedule hereto, being part of a reserve for recreation in
the Gisborne Land District, shall be and the same is hereby
brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to
the provisions of Part II of the said Act; and such land shall
hereafter be known as the Ohiwa Domain, and be managed,
administered, and dealt with as a public domain.
SCHEDULE
GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 28 acres 3 roods
19 perches, more or less, being part Allotment 92, Waiotahi
Parish, situated in Block I, Opotiki Survey District. As the
same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.
and S. 1/1341, deposited in the Head Office, Department of
Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Honorary Inspector of Scenic Reserves Appointed

PURSUANT to section 4 of the Scenery Preservation Act
1908, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke
Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby appoint
John Walker
to be an Honorary Inspector under the said Act.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, this 30th day of April 1953.
