Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Declared to be
Subject to the Land Act 1948

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 19 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting on the joint recommendation of the Minister of Lands and of the Minister of Forests, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being a provisional State forest reserve set apart by Proclamation dated the 9th day of September 1942 and gazetted on the 17th day of that month, is required for settlement purposes; and in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest land, and shall become Crown land available for sale, lease, reservation, or other disposition under the provisions of the Land Act 1948.

SECTION 5, Block IV, Punakitere Survey District, and Section 7, Block XVI, Omapere Survey District: Area, 669 acres 3 roods, more or less. (S.O. plan 20214.)

Declaring Land in Canterbury Land District, Vested in the Canterbury Education Board as Part of a Site for a Public School, to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS by subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) it is provided that, notwithstanding anything contained in any other Act, the Governor-General may from time to time, by Proclamation, declare that any school-site or part of a school-site which in his opinion is no longer required for that purpose shall be vested in Her Majesty; and thereupon the school-site, or part thereof, as the case may be, shall vest in Her Majesty freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date of the Proclamation:
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the said Act, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Canterbury Education Board as part of a site for a public school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area situated in Block XIII, Oxford Survey District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre and 12·1 perches, more or less, being Lot 1 as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Christchurch under No. 16491, being part Rural Section 4706, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 14, folio 181 (Canterbury Registry).

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1928.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land: 40 acres 1 rood 4 perches.
Being part Rural Section 33985.
Situated in Block VII, Rangitata Survey District (Canterbury R.D.). (S.O. 5128.)
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 139308, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for a police-station; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 30th day of March 1953.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart; 1 rood 2·3 perches.
Being Lot 3 D.P. 1934, being part Section 94, Block III, Wairio Survey District, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 176, folio 23 (Southland Land Registry).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 17th day of March 1953.
