Revoking the Reservation Over Portion of a Scenic Reserve in
the Otago Land District

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is
portion of a reserve duly set apart for scenic purposes:
And whereas the said land is no longer suitable for scenic
purposes by reason of the absence of bush of scenic value
thereon:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 8 of the Scenery
Preservation Amendment Act 1910, I, Lieutenant-General Sir
Charles Wi. hby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of
New Zealand, hereby revoke the reservation for scenic purposes
over the land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 38.5 perches, more
or less, being part Sections 58 and 59, Block IX, North
Harbour and Blueskin Survey District, and being part of the
land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume
121, folio 217 (Otago Registry). As the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 4/119A,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (S.O. plan
11693).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 20th day of March 1953.

Proclaiming Maori Land to Have Become Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 454 of the Maori Land Act 1931, I,
Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie,
the Governor-General of New Zealand, being satisfied that
the purchase of the Maori land described in the Schedule hereto
has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under
the authority of the said Act, do hereby proclaim that the said
land has become Crown land.

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked M.A. 1/11/34/1, deposited in the Head Office of the

this 19th day of March 1953.

Declaring Certain Crown Land to be Subject to Part I of the
Maori Land Amendment Act 1936

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 5 of the Maori Land Act 1939, I,
Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie,
the Governor-General of New Zealand, do hereby declare the
Crown land described in the Schedule hereto to be subject to
Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act 1936.
