Varying a Proclamation Declaring Certain Crown Land to be Subject to Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act 1936 (Te Kaha Development Scheme)

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 5 of the Maori Purposes Act 1939, I, Sir Humphrey Francis O'Leary, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby vary the Proclamation made on the 28th day of August 1952, and published in the Gazette on the 4th day of September 1952, at page 1437, by excluding therefrom the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area in the Matakaoa County, containing by admeasurement 13 acres 3 roods 20 perches, more or less, and situated in Block II, Whangaparaoa Survey District, and known as Section I, Block II, Whangaparaoa Survey District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 25th day of November 1952.

Proclaiming a Road-line Laid Out in Block IV, Waoku Survey District, North Auckland Land District, to be a Public Road

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was, by an order of the Maori Land Court made on the 11th day of May 1944, duly laid out as a road-line in pursuance of sections 162, 477, 478, and 479 of the Maori Land Act 1931 ;

And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section 486 of the said Act :

And whereas one month's notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-line as a public road has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned, in terms of subsection (2) of section 487 of the said Act :

And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road :

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 487 of the Maori Land Act 1931, I, Sir Humphrey Francis O'Leary, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as a public road the road-line described in the Schedule hereto.

Land Subject to the Housing Act 1919 Declared Crown Land Available for Reservation Under the Land Act 1948

PURSUANT to subsection (1) of section 8 of the Housing Amendment Act 1940, I, Sir Humphrey Francis O'Leary, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, being land subject to the Housing Act 1919, to be Crown land available for reservation under the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area situated in Block XVI, Waitemata Survey District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 39·7 perches, more or less, being Lot 26 as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under No. 39426, being part Allotment 21, Section 7, Suburbs of Auckland, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 801, folio 10 (Auckland Registry). (S.O. plan 37295.)

PURSUANT to subsection (1) of section 8 of the Housing Amendment Act 1940, I, Sir Humphrey Francis O'Leary, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the lands described in the Schedule hereto, being lands subject to the Housing Act 1919, to be Crown lands available for reservation under the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL those areas situated in Blocks IX and X, Belmont Survey District, containing by admeasurement a total of 33 perches, more or less, being Lots 24 and 25 as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington, under No. 15318, being parts subdivisions 14 and 15, Section 58, Hutt District, and parts Section 188, Hutt District, being also part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 578, folio 40 (Wellington Registry).

ALL those areas situated in Block XI, Christchurch Survey District, containing by admeasurement a total of 1 acre 2 roods 34 perches, more or less, being Lots 2 and 26 as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Christchurch under No. 15482, being parts Rural Section 713, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 496, folio 274 (Canterbury Registry).
