NOTICE is hereby given that the final winding-up meeting of
Sun Valley, Limited (in voluntary liquidation) will be held

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 230 of the Com-
panies Act 1933, that a general meeting of the above-named
company will be held at Central Chambers, Newmarket, on the 19th
day of December 1952, at l p.m., for the purpose of having an account
laid before the meeting showing the manner in which the winding-up
has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of,
and also of determining by special resolution the manner in which
the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the
liquidator thereof shall be disposed of.

OTAGO ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING AND LEVYING SPECIAL RATE
General Extension and Reticulation Loan 1952
EXTRACT from minutes of a special meeting of the Otago
Electric-power Board, held in the Board’s offices, 128 Union
Street, Milton, on the 22nd day of April 1952, at 3 p.m. Resolved by
way of special order:-
"That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by
the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926 and the Electric-power Boards Act
1925 and any amendments thereto, and for the purpose of providing
the interest and other charges on a loan of ninety-five thousand pounds
(£95,000) to be known as ‘General Extension and Reticulation Loan,
1952’, authorized to be raised by the Otago Electric-power Board
under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of further reticulating
the inner area of the Otago Electric-power District, the Otago Electric-
power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-fourth (¼)
of a penny in the pound on the capital rateable value of all rateable
property within the Inner Area of the Otago Electric-power District
(which includes portions of the Counties of Bruce, Clutha, Tuapeka,
Maniototo, Taieri, Waihemo, and Waikouaiti, together with the
Boroughs of Naseby, Balclutha, Lawrence, Kaitangata, Waikouaiti,
and Palmerston) ; and it is hereby further resolved that such special
rate shall be an annually recurring rate payable yearly on the lst
day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said
General Extension and Reticulation Loan 1952, or until the said
loan has been fully repaid, and the special rate be and the same is
hereby appropriated and pledged as security for the repayment of
the said loan and for payment of interest thereon and other charges
under the securities to be issued in respect of the said loan.’

BOROUGH OF TAKAPUNA
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf
by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Takapuna Borough
Council hereby resolves as follows :-
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on that portion of the Takapuna Streets Improvements Loan 1952
(£200,000), being the sum of twenty thousand pounds (£20,000)
authorized to be raised by the Takapuna Borough Council by way of
special loan under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of carrying-
out permanent improvements to streets including, where necessary,
formation of streets to permanent levels, kerbing, and channelling,
bitumen sealing, and the provision of storm-water drains within the
Borough of Takapuna the Takapuna Borough Council makes and
levies a special rate of three hundred and sixty-nine one-thousandths
of one (1) penny in the pound (£) (389/100d.) on the rateable value (on
the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the
Borough of Takapuna ; and that such special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly
on the lst day of July in each and every year during the currency of
such loan, being a period of fifteen (15) years, or until the loan is
fully paid off."

Borough Council held 18 November 1952.

BOROUGH OF TAKAPUNA
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf
by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926 the Takapuna Borough
Council hereby resolves as follows :-
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on that portion of the Takapuna Housing Loan 1951 (£5,000),
being the sum of two thousand pounds (£2,000) authorized to be
raised by the Takapuna Borough Council by way of special loan
under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting two
workers’ dwellings in the Borough of Takapuna for members of the
Council staff, the Takapuna Borough Council hereby makes and levies
a special rate of thirty-three one-thousandths of one (1) penny in the
pound (£) (33/100d.) on the rateable value (on the basis of the unim-
proved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Takapuna ;
and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the Ist day of July
in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period
of fifteen (15) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

DUNEDIN WHOLESALE MILK SUPPLY, LIMITED
IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION
In the matter of the Companies Act 1933, and in the matter of
DUNEDIN WHOLESALE MILK SUPPLY, LIMITED (in volun-
tary liquidation).
NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 241 of the said Act,
that a general meeting of shareholders of Dunedin Wholesale Milk
Supply, Limited (in voluntary liquidation) will be held at the office
of the liquidator, 138 Stuart Street, Dunedin, on Friday, 19 December
1952, at 2 p.m., for the purpose of laying before such meeting the
liquidator’s accounts, showing the manner in which the winding-up
has been conducted and the assets of the company disposed of, and
to offer any explanation thereof which may be required, and for the
purpose of passing an extraordinary resolution as to the disposal
of the books, accounts, and documents of the company as provided
by section 275 of the said Act.

CARTERTON BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
THE Carterton Borough Council, at a special meeting held on the
18th day of November 1951, passed the following resolution:-
"In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act and its amendments, and
all other powers it in that behalf enables, the Carterton Borough
Council hereby resolves as follows : That, for the purpose of providing
the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of three thousand
pounds (£3,000) being part of the General Purposes Amalgamated
Loan 1952, of twelve thousand pounds (£12,000), authorized to be
raised by the Carterton Borough Council under the above-mentioned
Act for the purpose of making additions to the water-reticulation,
providing a new municipal building, and carrying out alterations and
additions to the State Theatre, the Carterton Borough Council
