Varying a Condition as to Setting-back the Building-line of the Northern Side of Portion of Mount Street, in the City of Auckland, Imposed by Order in Council Under the Public Works Act 1928

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 27 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends the Order in Council dated the 4th day of February 1948, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 8 of the 12th day of the same month, at page 159, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under No. 12298, exempting the northern side of portion of Mount Street, in the City of Auckland, from the provisions of section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, subject to a condition as to the building-line by varying the condition with regard to the building-line imposed by the said Order in Council so that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land shown edged green on the plan marked P.W.D. 126580, referred to in the Schedule to the said Order in Council, within a distance of 28 ft. from the centre-line of the portion of street.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for housing purposes.

Declaring Portion of the Tapuwae Farm Settlement Road in the Waitomo County, to be County Road

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county road.
SCHEDULE
ALL that portion of road in the Taranaki Land District, Waitomo County, in Block XIV, Mapara Survey District, known as Tapuwae Road, commencing at the northern boundary of Rangitoto Tuhua 79H 2B 2C 2A Block, and proceeding generally in a southerly and easterly direction for a total distance of approximately 169 chains through the aforementioned Rangitoto Tuhua 79H 2B 2C 2A Block and through Rangitoto Tuhua 79H 2B 2C 2B Block, 79H 2B 2C 2C Block, again through 79H 2B 2C 2B Block, through 79H 2A Block, and again through 79H 2B 2C 2C Block, terminating within the last-mentioned Block at a point approximately 44 chains from the eastern boundary of Rangitoto Tuhua 79H 2A Block. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 138785, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Authorizing John Harrison, of Halfmoon Bay, Retired Fishery Manager, to Erect and Use Certain Electric Lines in the County of Stewart Island

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 26th day of November 1952
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes John Harrison, of Halfmoon Bay, Retired Fishery Manager (hereinafter referred to as the licensee), subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto.
CONDITIONS
IMPLIED CONDITIONS
- The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this licence except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.
LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS
- In respect of the electric lines hereby authorized, the licensee shall comply with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference Regulations 1934, and with all regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.
SYSTEM OF SUPPLY
- The system of supply shall be as described in paragraph (d) of Regulation 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, and shall be a direct-current system.
DURATION OF LICENCE
- Unless sooner lawfully determined this licence shall continue in force until the 31st day of March 1973.
SCHEDULE
LINES for the supply of electrical energy by the system of supply hereinbefore described commencing from the licensee’s generator shed situated in Lot 19 of Section 50, and proceeding in a north-easterly direction to a pole situated in Lot 19 of Section 50 aforesaid, and thence:—
(a) In a southerly direction to a residence situated in Lot 19 of Section 50 aforesaid:
(b) In a north-easterly direction to a pole situated in Ringa Ringa Road, thence in a south-easterly direction along Ringa Ringa Road to another pole, thence easterly to a residence situated in Lot 16 of Section 50.
All being situated in Block I, Paterson Survey District in the County of Stewart Island.
The said lines being more particularly shown by means of red lines on the plan marked S.H.D. 223, deposited in the office of the State Hydro-electric Department in Wellington.
