A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Humphrey Francis O’Leary, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

Conferring on Thames County Council Certain Powers of Borough Councils with Respect to Drainage, Sanitation, and Water-supply

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington this 12th day of November 1952

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 182 of the Counties Act 1920, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby confers on the Thames County Council all the powers with respect to drainage, sanitation, and the supply of water for domestic or industrial purposes exercisable by a duly constituted borough council under sections 82 to 84, 86 to 88, section 91, sections 219 to 250, 252 to 261, and section 346 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1933, and also section 20 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1938.

The Anderson Gift Regulations 1943, Amendment No. 2

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington, this 5th day of November 1952

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 18 of the Reserves and Other Lands Disposal Act 1942, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following regulations.

REGULATIONS

  1. (1) These regulations may be cited as the Anderson Gift Regulations 1943, Amendment No. 2, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Anderson Gift Regulations 1943* (hereinafter referred to as the principal regulations).

(2) These regulations shall come into force on the day after the date of their notification in the Gazette.

  1. Regulation 7 of the principal regulations is hereby amended by revoking subclause (2), and substituting the following subclause:—

“ (2) Any grant authorized by the Board shall not exceed the sum of £25 at any one time.”

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 9 of the Hunter Gift for the Settlement of Discharged Soldiers Act 1921, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following regulations.

REGULATIONS

  1. (1) These regulations may be cited as the Hunter Gift Regulations 1928, Amendment No. 1, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the regulations under the Hunter Gift for the Settlement of Discharged Soldiers Act 1921, made on the 16th day of July 1928, and published in the Gazette of the 19th day of July 1928, at page 2230 (hereinafter referred to as the principal regulations).

(2) These regulation shall come into force on the day after the date of their notification in the Gazette.

  1. The principal regulations may hereafter be cited as the Hunter Gift Regulations 1928.

  2. The principal regulations are hereby amended by revoking regulation 11, and substituting the following regulation:—

“ 11. A grant shall not exceed the sum of £25.”

Order in Council Changing the Name of the New Zealand Sheepbreeders’ Association (South Island), (Notice No. Ag. 5355)

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Agricultural and Pastoral Societies Act 1908, and to section 4 of the Agricultural and Pastoral Societies Amendment Act 1912, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby changes the name of the society incorporated under the Agricultural and Pastoral Societies Act 1908, under the style and title of “ the New Zealand Sheepbreeders’ Association (South Island) ” to “ the New Zealand Sheepbreeders’ Association ”.
