Planning Schemes in Respect of Areas Comprising the Whole of
the County and Revocation of Existing Order in Council

His EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT
IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the Makara County Council is the responsible authority within the meaning of the Town-planning Act 1926, of a certain rural area as defined in the said Act—namely, the Makara County:
And whereas by the Order in Council referred to in the First Schedule hereto the Makara County was required, pursuant to section 25 of the Town-planning Act 1926 to prepare and submit to the Town-planning Board an extra-urban planning scheme in respect of the whole of the said County:
And whereas it is expedient for the more convenient preparation and submission of extra-urban planning schemes for certain defined areas within the said rural area that the said Order in Council referred to in the said First Schedule be revoked and other provision made in substitution therefor;
And whereas His Excellency the Administrator of the Government is of opinion that settlement is taking place at such a rate that it is deemed advisable in the public interest, and for the proper consideration of the town-planning schemes which the adjacent borouhgs in the Wellington Metropolitan area are required to prepare under the Town-planning Act 1926, that separate extra-urban planning schemes should be prepared and submitted for certain defined areas within the said rural area—namely, the defined areas described in the Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Schedules hereto:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 25 of the Town-planning Act 1926 and by paragraph (h) of section 25 of the Acts Interpretation Act 1924, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes the Order in Council referred to in the First Schedule hereto, and hereby requires the Makara County Council to prepare and submit to the Town-planning .Board before the 31st day of December 1953 separate extra-urban planning schemes in respect of each of the defined areas described in the Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Schedules hereto.

SECOND SCHEDULE
Area No. 1
ALL that area in the County of Makara, bounded as follows:
Commencing at a point on the north-western boundary of the County of Makara as described in New Zealand Gazette 1923, page 752, being the south-western corner of Section 41, Ohariu District, situated in Block V, Belmont Survey District; thence proceeding north-easterly, south-easterly, and south-westerly generally along the north-western, north-eastern, and south-eastern boundaries of the County of Makara to the south-eastern boundary of Mahinawa la ; thence south-westerly along that south-eastern boundary to and across the Titahi Bay - Porirua Main Highway, and again along that south-eastern boundary to the eastern boundary of Takapuwahia H. 1; thence south-easterly along the eastern boundaries of Takapuwahia H 1, H 2, and H 3 to the eastern boundary of Takapuwahia H 4; thence southerly and south-westerly along the eastern and south-eastern boundaries of Takapuwahia H 4 to the south-western boundaries of that block; thence south-westerly and north-easterly along the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of Takapuwahia H 4 and Wairere 2E 2 to the south-eastern boundary of Section 38, Ohariu District; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundaries of Section 38 aforesaid and Sections 39 and 40, Ohariu District, to the south-western boundary of Section 40 aforesaid; thence north-westerly along the south-western boundary of Section 40 aforesaid to and across a public road, and again along the south-western boundary of Section 40 aforesaid to the south-eastern boundary of Section 41, Ohariu District; thence south-westerly and north-westerly along the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of Section 41 aforesaid to the point of commencement.

ALL that area in the County of Makara, bounded as follows:
Commencing at a point, being the north-western corner of Section 99, Block VIII, Paekakariki Survey District, being also a point on the eastern boundary of the County of Makara as described in New Zealand Gazette 1923, page 752; thence proceeding southerly and south-westerly along the eastern and south-eastern boundaries of the County of Makara, described as aforesaid, to the northern boundary of Section 27, Horokiwi Road District, situated in Block VIII, Belmont Survey District; thence westerly along the northern boundary and southerly along the western boundary of Section 27 aforesaid to the southern boundary of Section 10, Tukapu District; thence westerly along the southern boundary of Section 10 aforesaid,
to and across a public road, again along that southern boundary to the western boundary of Section 10 aforesaid, thence northerly along that western boundary to the southern boundary of Lot 2 on the plan numbered 7001 deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington; thence westerly along the southern boundary and northerly along the western boundary of Lot 2 on the aforesaid plan to the northern boundary of Lot 1 on the aforesaid plan; thence westerly generally along that northern boundary to the eastern side of Princess Street; thence southerly along that eastern side to and across the Wellington – New Plymouth Railway to the eastern side of the Wellington–Paekakariki Centennial State Highway; thence southerly generally along that eastern side to a point in line with the eastern boundary of part Sections 55 and 57, Porirua District, and being the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 207, folio 250 (Wellington Registry); thence to and along the eastern, northern, and western boundaries of the land in the aforesaid certificate of title to the northern boundary of Section 55, Porirua District; thence westerly along the northern boundary of Section 55 aforesaid; thence southerly along the western boundaries of Sections 55, 54, 52, 52A, and 49, Porirua District, to the northern boundary of the land on the plan numbered 9126 deposited as aforesaid; thence westerly generally along that northern boundary to the eastern boundary of Section 44, Ohariu District; thence northerly along the eastern boundaries of Sections 44 aforesaid, 43, 42, 41, 40, 39, and 38, Ohariu District, to the south-western boundary of Wairere 2E 2; thence south-easterly along the south-western boundary of Wairere 2E 2, and south-easterly and north-easterly along the south-western and south-eastern boundaries of Takapuwahia H 4 to the north-eastern boundary of Takapuwahia H 4; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern boundaries of Takapuwahia H 4, H 3, H 2, and H 1 to the south-eastern boundary of Mahinawa 1A; thence north-easterly along that south-eastern boundary to and across the Porirua-Titahi Bay Road to the northern boundary of the County of Makara as described in New Zealand Gazette 1923, page 752; thence easterly and northerly generally along the northern boundary of the County of Makara described as aforesaid, to the point of commencement.

Commencing at a point, being the intersection of the southern boundary of Section 28, Horokiwi Road District, situated in Block II, Belmont Survey District, with the eastern boundary of the County of Makara as described in New Zealand Gazette 1923, page 752; thence proceeding in a southerly direction generally along that eastern boundary to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Section 16, Harbour District, situated in Block XII, Belmont Survey District; thence north-westerly to and along the south-western boundary and north-easterly along the north-western boundary of that Section to the southern boundary of Section 2, Horokiwi Road District; thence westerly along that southern boundary and northerly along the western boundaries of Sections 2 aforesaid, 3, 4, and 6, Horokiwi Road District, to the northern boundary of Section 21, Porirua District; thence westerly along that northern boundary to and across the Wellington-Foxton Motorway, and again along that northern boundary to and across the Wellington-Paekakariki Centennial State Highway to the northern boundary of Section 20, Porirua District; thence westerly along the northern boundary of Section 20 aforesaid and northerly generally along the western boundaries of Sections 22, 24, 26, 28, 31, 32, 34, 36, 38, and 41, Porirua District, to the southern boundary of the Town District of Tawa Flat as described in New Zealand Gazette 1951, page 438, thence easterly, southerly, easterly, northerly, westerly, and southerly generally along the boundaries of the Town District of Tawa Flat described as aforesaid to the western boundary of Section 41, Porirua District; thence northerly generally along the western boundaries of Sections 41, 43, 45, 47, 49, 52A, 52, 54, and 55, Porirua District, to the northern boundary of Section 55 aforesaid; thence easterly along that northern boundary to the western boundary of part Sections 55 and 57, Porirua District, being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 207, folio 250 (Wellington Registry); thence northerly, easterly, and southerly along the western, northern, and eastern boundaries of the land in the aforesaid certificate of title and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the southern side of the Wellington-Paekakariki Centennial State Highway; thence easterly and northerly along the southern and eastern sides to and across the Wellington – New Plymouth Railway and along the eastern side of Princess Street to the northern boundary of Lot 1 on the plan numbered 7001 deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington, thence south-easterly and south-westerly generally along the northern boundary of Lot 1 to the southern and western boundaries of Lot 2 on the aforesaid plan 7001 to the southern boundary of Lot 2 aforesaid; thence easterly along that southern boundary to the western boundary of Section 10, Tukapu District; thence southerly along the western boundary and easterly along the southern boundary of Section 10 aforesaid to the western boundary of Section 27, Horokiwi Road District; thence northerly and easterly along the western and northern boundaries of Section 27 aforesaid to the point of commencement.

Commencing at a point on the sea-coast, being the intersection of the western boundary of the County of Makara as described in New Zealand Gazette 1923, page 752, with the south-western boundary of Section 41, Ohariu District, situated in Block V, Belmont Survey District; thence proceeding south-easterly along the south-western boundary and north-easterly along the south-eastern boundary of Section 41 aforesaid to the south-western boundary of Section 40,
