Declaring Portion of the Kiri Farm Settlement Road, in the Waikato County, to be County Road

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington, this 24th day of September 1952

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county road.

SCHEDULE

ALL that portion of road in the South Auckland Land District, situated in Block VII, Cambridge Survey District, commencing at the northernmost corner of Section 19 of the aforesaid Block VII, and proceeding thence in an easterly direction generally for a distance of approximately 84 chains and terminating at the easternmost corner of Section 21 of the aforesaid Block VII. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 138205, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red and marked A–B.

Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street off Francis Street in the Borough of Takapuna, Subject to a Condition as to the Building-line

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 31 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1948 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the Takapuna Borough Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its length of less than 66 ft., but not less than 50 ft., subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land shown edged green on the plan marked P.W.D. 138256, referred to in the said Schedule, within a distance of 48 ft. from the centre-line of the said street.

SCHEDULE

ALL that proposed street in the North Auckland Land District, Borough of Takapuna, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 24·4 perches, more or less, being part of the land on D.P. 1135, being part Allotment 27, Section 1, Parish of Takapuna. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 138256, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL

Amending an Order in Council Appointing Five Non-elective Members of the Southland Catchment Board

PURSUANT to the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941 and section 7 of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Amendment Act 1948, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends the Order in Council dated the 3rd day of August 1949 and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 45 of the 4th day of August 1949, at page 1626, appointing five non-elective members of the Southland Catchment Board by deleting “Agrostologist, Grasslands Division, Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Gore,” and substituting “Geologist, Geological Survey, Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Invercargill.”

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby licenses and permits Edward Richard Edsall and Louis George Vik (hereinafter called the licensees, which term shall include their executors, administrators, or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore in the Taieri River as shown on plan marked M.D. 9349 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of the use of a slipway as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensees upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
