Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work, and Not Required
for That Purpose, to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Humphrey Francis O’Leary, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land declared to be Crown land :—

1 2 6 Lot 1, D.P. 15318, being part Section 188 of the Hutt District.
10 1 2·5 Lots 3, 4, and 5, D.P. 15318, being part Section 188 and part Subdivisions 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 14A of Section 58 of the Hutt District.
15 2 7·6 Lots 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12, D.P. 15318, being part Sections 188 and 228 of the Hutt District.
2 0 6·6 Lots 17 and 18, D.P. 15318, being part Section 188 of the Hutt District.

Situated in the City of Lower Hutt and being parts of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 578, folio 40 (Wellington Land Registry).

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Humphrey Francis O’Leary, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 23rd day of July 1952 and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 52 of the 31st day of the same month, at page 1283, declaring land acquired for a Government work, and not required for that purpose, to be Crown land, and hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land :
2 roods 15·5 perches.

Being Lots 1, 2, and 3, D.P. 37907, being part Allotment 67, Parish of Mahurangi, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 886, folio 274 (Auckland Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 17th day of September 1952.

Whangarei Shall be Altered or Diverted

PURSUANT to section 207 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Humphrey Francis O’Leary, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the course of the Raumanga Stream shall be altered or diverted within the areas of land described in the Schedule hereto.

PURSUANT to paragraph (b) of section 2 of the Sovereign’s Birthday Observance Act 1952, I, Sir Humphrey Francis O’Leary, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the birthday of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second shall be observed in New Zealand in respect of the year nineteen hundred and fifty-three on the first day of June.

PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the portions of Government road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county road.
