Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Humphrey Francis O'Leary, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a technical school; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 8th day of September 1952.

Approximate area of the piece of additional land taken : 2 acres 2 roods 27 perches.
Being Lot 2, D.P. 6426, being part Rural Section 5, situated in Block VII, Christchurch Survey District, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 495, folio 167 (Canterbury Land Registry).

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, and section 71 of the Fire Services Act 1949, I, Sir Humphrey Francis O'Leary, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a fire-station, and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Rangiora, being the Urban Fire Authority for the Secondary Urban Fire District of Southbrook, as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 8th day of September 1952.
