RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Water-Supply Improvements Supplementary Loan 1952

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Woodville Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of two thousand pounds (£2,000), authorized to be raised by the Woodville Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of improving the water-supply system of the borough by finishing the tate lining of the water-mains, the said Woodville Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of forty-six one-hundredths of a penny in the pound (⁴⁶⁄₁₀₀d.) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Woodville Borough, comprising the whole of the Borough of Woodville, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the 1st day of January and 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

WOODVILLE COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Bridge Renewal Loan 1951 of £10,000

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Woodville County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £10,000, authorized to be raised by the Woodville County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of the renewal of bridges, the said Woodville County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¹⁄₅d. (one-fifth of a penny) in the pound, upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the County of Woodville, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
Certified a true copy of a resolution passed by the Woodville County Council at a properly constituted meeting held on the 8th day of February 1952.

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

The Wellington City Water-supply Loan 1920 Renewal Loan 1952 of £265,600

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926 and its amendments, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:—
“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest repayment of principal and other charges on a loan of two hundred and sixty-five thousand six hundred pounds (£265,600) to be known as the Wellington City Water-supply Loan 1920 Renewal Loan 1952 of £265,600, authorized to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of redeeming at maturity the outstanding liability in respect of the Wellington City Water-supply Loan 1920 Renewal Loan 1940 of five hundred and thirty-seven thousand six hundred pounds (£537,600) the Wellington City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three hundred and thirty-eight eight-hundredths of a penny (³³⁸⁄₈₀₀d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of eight (8) years from the 1st day of December 1952, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council, held on Wednesday, 13 August 1952.
