A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Bernard Cyril,
Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby
proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Midland
railway.

coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General,
and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 29th day
of July 1952.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Bernard Cyril,
Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby
proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a post-office; and I also declare
that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 11th
day of August 1952.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken : 0·6 perches.
Being part Lot 1, D.P. 28541, being part Allotment 47, Tahawai
Parish.
Situated in Block IX, Katikati Survey District (Auckland R.D.).

particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 137793, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured sepia.

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Bernard Cyril,
Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto is hereby taken for housing purposes; and I also declare
that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 11th day
of August 1952.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 0·99 perches.
Being part of Lot 8, Block II; D.P. 4165, Township of Mount Mera,
and being part Section 42.
Situated in North East Valley Survey District (City of Dunedin),

Land Taken for Housing Purposes and for the Purposes of a Pleasure-ground in the City of Wellington, and Previous Proclamation Revoked

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Bernard Cyril,
Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 29th day of March 1952
and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 25 of the 3rd day of
April 1952, at page 454, taking land for housing purposes and for
the purposes of a pleasure-ground in the City of Wellington,
and hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for housing purposes, that the land
described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the
purposes of a pleasure-ground, and that the said parcels of land shall
vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington
as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that
this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 11th day of
August 1952.
