Declaring Trailer Units Forming Part of a Multi-axled Motor-Vehicle to be Trailers
PURSUANT to subsection (1) of section 2 of the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby determines that the three vehicles specified in the Schedule hereto, each forming part of a multi-axled vehicle as defined by section 2 of the said Act, shall be deemed to be trailers.
SCHEDULE
THREE trailer units, Chassis Nos. 39638, 42176, and 42177, owned by Milton Transport, Limited, Milton.

Warrant Revoking Approval of the Provision of Additional Indications of the Presence and Position of Pedestrian Crossings and Approving the Provision of Additional Indications of the Presence and Position of Pedestrian Crossings
PURSUANT to regulation 20 of the Traffic (Road Crossing) Regulations 1944, the Minister of Transport hereby revokes the Warrant dated the 21st day of August 1950*, approving additional indications of the presence and position of pedestrian crossings and hereby approves the provision by any controlling authority of additional indications of the presence and position of any authorized pedestrian crossing by the following manner: (a) in the case of pedestrian crossings of No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3 types by any or all of the devices described in paragraphs (1), (3), or (4) of the Schedule hereto; and (b) in the case of pedestrian crossings of No. 3A and No. 3B types by any or all of the devices described in paragraphs (2), (3), or (4) of the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
(1) A sign, coloured lemon-yellow, in the form of diagram No. 1 hereunder—that is to say, in the form of a square with sides, set vertically, of not less than 2 ft. and not greater than 3 ft. in length and bearing the words “Pedestrian Crossing” in black lettering and a white symbol on a black ground as indicated in the diagram.
(2) A sign, coloured lemon-yellow, in the form of diagram No. 2 hereunder—that is to say, in the form of a square with sides, set vertically, of not less than 2 ft. and not greater than 3 ft. in length and bearing the words “Pedestrian Crossing” in black lettering and a white symbol on a black ground as indicated in the diagram.
(3) A marking on the road surface of a design having the minimum dimensions shown in diagram No. 3 hereunder and of a colour to contrast with the colour of the road surface, and being placed so as to have the longer diagonal as nearly parallel as is practicable to the centre-line of the roadway.
(4) Two illuminated signs, erected one at each end of the crossing and situated directly above the crossing at a height of not less than 14 ft. above the roadway; the left hand sign to read “Pedestrian” and the right hand sign to read “Crossing”; the words “Pedestrian” and “Crossing” to be lemon-yellow in colour, of not less than 8 in. in height and to be illuminated from within or behind the sign or to be made of luminous tubing shaped in the form of the words “Pedestrian” and “Crossing”.
