Revoking a Warrant Excluding Portion of a Road From Limitation
as to Speed and Excluding Portion of a Road from the Speed
Limitation Imposed by the Transport Act 1949, Section 36

PURSUANT to section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, the Minister
of Transport hereby revokes that Warrant dated the 8th
day of May 1947,* which applies to the portion of road described
in the First Schedule hereto and hereby excludes the portion of road
described in the Second Schedule hereto from the limitation as to
speed imposed by the said section.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Wellington City—

Hutt Road (all that portion from the boundary of the Wellington
City at Ngahauranga to a point 8 chains measured along
the said road in a north-easterly direction from its junction
with Rangiora Avenue).

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Wellington City—

Hutt Road (all that portion from the boundary of the Wellington
City at Ngahauranga to a point 5 chains measured along
the said road in a north-easterly direction from its junction
with Onslow Road).

Revoking Portion of a Warrant Excluding Roads from Limitation as
to Speed and Excluding Roads from the Speed Limitation Imposed
by the Transport Act 1949, Section 36

PURSUANT to section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, the Minister
of Transport hereby revokes that portion of the Warrant dated
the 27th day of November 1951*, which applies to those portions of
roads described in the First Schedule hereto, and hereby excludes
those portions of roads described in the Second Schedule hereto
from limitation as to speed imposed by the said section.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Henderson Borough—

Henderson–Kumeu via Swanson Main Highway No. 384 (all
that portion commencing at its junction with the Auckland–
Helensville State Highway, and terminating at the north-
western boundary of Henderson Borough).

Henderson Valley Main Highway No. 385 (all that portion
commencing at the south-western boundary of Henderson
Borough and terminating at a point 5 chains measured along
the said main highway in a northerly direction from its
junction with Domain Road).

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Henderson Borough—

Henderson–Kumeu via Swanson Main Highway No. 384 (all
that portion commencing at a point 20 chains measured
in a north-westerly direction from its junction with the
Auckland–Helensville State Highway No. 6 and terminating
at the north-western boundary of Henderson Borough).

Henderson Valley Main Highway No. 385 (all that portion
commencing at a point 8 chains measured in a south-
westerly direction from its junction with Domain Road
and terminating at the south-western boundary of Henderson
Borough).

Approval of Testing Officer Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940

PURSUANT to regulation 5 of the Motor Drivers Regulations
1940, the Minister of Transport hereby approves of the person
named in Column 2 of the Schedule hereto being a testing officer
for the authority specified in Column 1 of the said Schedule.

Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block XIV, Hastings Survey

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the pro-
visions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land
described in the Schedule hereto for road; and notice is hereby
further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is
deposited in the post-office at Thames and is there open for
inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said
land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking
of such land, set forth the same in writing and send such writing,
within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the
Minister of Works at Wellington.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the pro-
visions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described
in the Schedule hereto for post and telegraph purposes (Postmaster’s
residence). And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the
land so required to be taken is deposited in the Post-office at Ngarua-
wahia and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected
by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded
objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing,
and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication
of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land required to be taken: 25
perches.

Being Allotment 604 of the Town of Newcastle in the Provincial
District of Auckland, and being the whole of the land com-
prised and described in certificate of title, Volume 51, folio 27
(Auckland Registry).

of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the additional land
described in the Schedule hereto for a public school. And notice
is hereby further given that the plan of the land required to be taken
is deposited in the post-office at Belfast and is there open for
inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said
land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the
taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such
writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice,
to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land required to be
taken: 2 acres 2 roods.

Situated in Block VII, Christchurch Survey District (Canterbury
R.D.).
