The Upper Hutt Licensing Trust Constitution Notice 1952
PURSUANT to the Licensing Trusts Act 1949 and the Local
Licensing Trusts Regulations 1949, the Minister of Justice
hereby gives notice as follows.
NOTICE
- This notice may be cited as the Upper Hutt Licensing
Trust Constitution Notice 1952. - There is hereby constituted a local licensing Trust, to
be called the Upper Hutt Licensing Trust. - (1) The first election of members of the Trust shall be
held on Saturday the 23rd day of August 1952.
(2) The Returning Officer for the first election of members
of the Trust shall be Bertram Matthew Wilmshurst, Town
Clerk of the Upper Hutt Borough Council. - The area within which polls shall be taken for elections
of members of the Trust shall be the whole of the area within
the boundaries of the Borough of Upper Hutt as from time to
time constituted. - The area within which the Trust may expend or
distribute profits pursuant to subsection (1) of section 44
of the Licensing Trusts Act 1949 shall be the whole of the
area within the boundaries of the Borough of Upper Hutt as
from time to time constituted.

Revoking a Notice Defining Lands in North Auckland Land District
(Taipuha Farm Settlement) to Which Water is Supplied Pursuant
to Section 8 of the Land Laws Amendment Act 1939
WHEREAS pursuant to subsection (5) of section 8 of the Land
Laws Amendment Act 1939, a notice was published in
Gazette No. 65 of 7 August 1941, page 2487, notifying that the lands
defined in the Schedule hereto are lands to which water is supplied
under the said section :
And whereas it is expedient that the aforesaid notice should be
revoked:
It is therefore hereby notified in pursuance of subsection (6)
of section 50 of the Land Act 1948 that the said notice is accordingly
revoked.

The Servicemen's Settlement Act 1950-Notice Declaring Land Taken
for Settlement of Discharged Servicemen
WHEREAS an application has been made for the consent of
the Land Valuation Court to a transaction which relates
to the land described in the Schedule hereto, and to which Part II
of the Servicemen's Settlement Act 1950 applies :
And whereas the purchaser of the said land is neither a dis-
charged serviceman nor a child or grandchild of the vendor :
And whereas the Land Valuation Committee to which the said
application was referred, not being satisfied that the Crown had
decided not to acquire or arrange for the acquisition of the said
land, did on the 18th day of June 1952 adjourn the said application:
Now, therefore, the Minister of Lands, acting in pursuance of
section 31 of the said Act, doth hereby declare that the said land
is taken for the settlement of discharged servicemen, and hereby
specifies the l0th day of July 1952, as the date on which the said
land shall be deemed to be vested in Her Majesty the Queen.
SCHEDULE
Canterbury LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area situated in Blocks III and VII, Selwyn Survey
District, containing by admeasurement five hundred and twenty-one
(521) acres, more or less, being Rural Sections 9736, 9872, 9996,
10028, 10316, 10317, 11186, 12494, and part Rural Section 9781,
and being all the land comprised and described in certificates of
title, Volume 1, folio 296, Volume 16, folio 107, Volume 396, folio 290
(limited as to parcels), and Volume 398, folio 18 (limited as to

The Servicemen's Settlement Act 1950-Amendment of Notice
Declaring Land Taken for the Settlement of Discharged Servicemen
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of section 31 of the
Servicemen's Settlement Act 1950, the Minister of Lands
gave notice declaring land described in the First Schedule hereto
to be taken under Part II of the said Act, and a copy of the said
notice was published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 24 on the
27th day of March 1952, at page 435.
And whereas an error was made in describing the said land
in the said notice :
Now, therefore, pursuant to the provisions of subsection (j)
of section 25 of the Acts Interpretation Act 1924, the Minister
of Lands doth hereby amend the said notice and doth hereby
declare that the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is
taken in substitution for the land declared to be taken in the said
notice.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that parcel of land situated in Blocks III and IV, Waihou
Survey District, containing by admeasurement 106 acres 2 roods
17 perches, more or less, being Lots 19, 20, 21, and 22 on Deposited
Plan 291, and Lot 28 on Deposited Plan 1192, being part of Whare-
poha Omahu Block and being all of the land described in certificate
of title, Volume 68, folio 239 (Auckland Registry).
Also all that parcel of land situated in Blocks III and IV,
Waihou Survey District, containing by admeasurement 68 acres
2 roods 20 perches, more or less, being Lot 50 and part of the
reserve marked " N" on Deposited Plan 3247, being part of Section
1, Block III, Waihou Survey District, and part of Wharepoha
Omahu Block and being all of the land described in certificate
of title, Volume 698, folio 317 (Auckland Registry).
SECOND SCHEDULE
ALL that parcel of land situated in Block III, Waihou Survey
District, containing by admeasurement 81 acres 2 roods 2 perches,
more or less, being Lots 19, 20, 21, and part of 22 on Deposited
