At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of
July 1952
Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders
and declares that the portions of road described in the Schedule
hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become
Government road.

1948, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
declares the pieces of land described in the Schedule hereto to be
service lanes for the purposes of Part I of that Act.

Domain Board Appointed to Have Control of the Culverden Domain

Pursuant to section 44 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-
General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council, hereby appoints
Richard Bethell,
Clarence Burrows,
George Nelson Dalzell,
Hugh Raymond Davison,
Robert Anthony Hoban,
Arthur William Bryce McMillan,
Samuel Maxwell,
Kenneth Dewey Peebles Rogers, and
Allan George Wilson
to be the Culverden Domain Board, having control of the land
described in the Schedule hereto, and hereby appoints Tuesday,
the 22nd day of July 1952, at 2 o'clock p.m., as the time when,
and the Culverden Hall, as the place where, the first meeting of the

His Excellency The Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to section 61 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council,
hereby directs that of the moneys received in respect of the Allanton
Domain described in the First Schedule hereto, and at the date
hereof lying to the credit of the said Domain, a sum not exceeding
£40 shall be applied in managing, administering, and improving the
Maungatua Domain, described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT—ALLANTON DOMAIN
BLOCK XIII, Town of Allanton : Area, 6 acres 3 roods 25·7 perches,
more or less.

Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in Town of Opotiki, Gisborne
Land District

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of
July 1952

His Excellency The Governor-General in Council
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a
reserve duly set apart for police purposes :
And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation
over such land shall be changed to a reserve for the purposes of
general education :
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (1) (a) of section 7 of
the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the
purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby
changed from a reserve for police purposes to a reserve for the
purposes of general education.
SCHEDULE
GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 2 roods 20 perches,
more or less, being Lot 4 of parts of Allotments 154 and 155 of
Section 2, Town of Opotiki. As the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 5483N, deposited in the
Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and
thereon edged red. (S.O. plan 3938).

Revoking the Reservation Over Portion of a Reserve in Leeston

His Excellency The Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to subsection (1) (b) of section 7 of the Public
Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excel-
lency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes the reservation for
military and defence purposes over the land described in the Schedule
hereto ; and hereby declares that the said land, being vested in the
Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act
1948.
