Mechanical Engineer, to Erect and Use Certain Electric Lines
in the County of Waitemata
SCHEDULE
THAT proposed street in the North Auckland Land District,
Borough of Birkenhead, containing by admeasurement l acre
36-6 perches, more or less, being part Lot 14, D.P. 813, being part
Allotment 143, Parish of Takapuna.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 137662, deposited in the office of the Minister of
Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Portion of Ridge Lane, in the City of New Plymouth, Exempted
from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928

At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of
July 1952
Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby approves
of the following resolution passed by the New Plymouth City Council
on the 21st day of May 1951, in so far as it affects the sides and
portions of streets described in the Schedule hereto, viz.:-
"The New Plymouth City Council, being the local authority
having the control of the streets in the City of New Plymouth,
by resolution declares that the provisions of section 128 of the
Public Works Act 1928 shall not apply:-
"(a) To the northern side of the portion of Rogan Street
adjoining Sections 1755 and 1756 and part Section
1754, Town of New Plymouth, being part of the land
comprised and described in certificate of title,
Volume 154, folio 99 (Taranaki Land Registry); nor
"(b) To the eastern side of the portion of Ridge Lane adjoining
the said part Section 1754, Town of New Plymouth".
SCHEDULE
THE northern side of all that portion of street situated in the
Taranaki Land District, City of New Plymouth, known as Rogan
Street, fronting Sections 1755 and 1756 and part Section 1754,
Town of New Plymouth.
Also the eastern side of all that portion of street in the said
land district and city, known as Ridge Lane, fronting part
Section 1754, Town of New Plymouth.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 137665, deposited in the office of the Minister of
Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring the Kainui Farm Settlement Road, in the Wanganui County,
to be County Road

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of
July 1952
Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and
declares that the road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on
and after the date of this Order in Council, become county road.
SCHEDULE
ALL that portion of road in the Wellington Land District, Wanganui
County, containing an area of 14 acres 2 roods 2 perches, commencing
at its junction with the Wangaehu Valley Road, and proceeding
thence in a south-easterly direction across the bed of the Pangarara
Stream to the south-western corner of the land defined on Deposited
Plan 11789 ; thence in a north-easterly direction for a distance
of approximately 18 chains : thence easterly, south-easterly, and
north-easterly generally for a distance of approximately 42 chains;
thence westerly, northerly, and north-westerly generally for a
distance of approximately 39 chains, passing through the land
defined on Deposited Plan 11789, being part of Pungataua Block
situated in Block VIII, Ngamatea Survey District (Kainui Farm
Settlement).
As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on
the plan marked P.W.D. 137664, deposited in the office of the Minister
of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of

Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes Leslie Reginald
Waygood, of Herne Bay, Auckland, Mechanical Engineer (hereinafter referred to as the licensee), subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use, the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto.
CONDITIONS

IMPLIED CONDITIONS
The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof. -
LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS
In respect of the electric lines hereby authorized, the licensee shall comply with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference Regulations 1934, and with all regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively. -
SYSTEM OF SUPPLY
The system of supply shall be as described in paragraph (d) of regulation 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, and shall be an alternating-current system. -
DURATION OF LICENCE
Unless sooner lawfully determined, this licence shall continue in force until the 31st day of March 1973, or until electrical energy is available from an electric-power board or other public source of supply, whichever is the earlier.
SCHEDULE
LINES for the supply of electrical energy by the system of supply hereinbefore described, commencing from the licensee's generator situated in Section 93 and proceeding in a southerly direction generally to the licensee's garage and residence both situated in the said Section 93, thence across Park Road to a pole situated on the southern side of Park Road, with branch lines leading as follows:- (1) In an easterly direction along Park Road to a light ;
(2) In a southerly direction to a communal kitchen situated in D.P. 31544;
(3) In a westerly direction along Park Road to a light, thence in a south-westerly and southerly direction to a pole situated in D.P. 31544 aforesaid, with branch lines leading as follows :-
(a) In a south-easterly direction to a ladies' dressing-shed situated in D.P. 31544 aforesaid;
(b) In a westerly direction to a men's dressing-shed situated in D.P. 31544 aforesaid, thence in a north-westerly direction to the North Piha Surf Club's building situated in Lot 1, D.P. 354.
All being situated in part Wekatahi Block, Waitakerei Parish, Block III, Waitakerei Survey District, in the County of Waitemata. The said lines being more particularly shown by means of double red lines on the plan marked S.H.D. 198, deposited in the office of the Minister in Charge of the State Hydro-electric Department.

Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street Off Kiwi Road, in the Borough of Birkenhead, Subject to a Condition as to the Building-line

His Excellency The Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to section 31 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1948 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the Birkenhead Borough Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for parts of its length of less than 66 ft., but not less than 50 ft., subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the proposed street within a distance of 48 ft. from the centre-line of the said street.
