Vesting a Reserve in the Rangiora County Council

FREYBERG, Governor-General
ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 21st day of January 1952
Present:
THE HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for a site for a memorial hall:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Rangiora:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 9 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Rangiora, in trust, for a site for a memorial hall.

SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area situated in Block V, Rangiora Survey District, containing by admeasurement 29·4 perches, more or less, being Lot 1 on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Christchurch under No. 15562, and being part Reserve 628. Subject to the reservations and conditions imposed by section 59 of the Land Act 1948, and subject also to the reservations imposed by section 8 of the Coal Mines Amendment Act 1950.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a site for a public hall:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Selwyn:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 9 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Selwyn, in trust, for a site for a public hall.

SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
RESERVE 4613, situated in Block IX, Selwyn Survey District: Area, 1 rood 24 perches, more or less. Subject to the reservations imposed by section 8 of the Coal Mines Amendment Act 1950. (S.O. plan 8405.)

Vesting a Reserve in the Petone Borough Council

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for recreation purposes:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Petone:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 9 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Petone, in trust, for recreation purposes.

SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
SECTION 467, Hutt District, situated in Block XIII, Belmont Survey District: Area, 3 roods 19·77 perches, more or less. Subject to the reservations and conditions imposed by section 59 of the Land Act 1948, and subject also to the reservations imposed by section 8 of the Coal Mines Amendment Act 1950. WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for gravel purposes:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Awatere:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 9 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Awatere, in trust, for gravel purposes.

SCHEDULE
MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT
SECTION 9, Block XXI, Taylor Pass Survey District: Area, 3 acres 3 roods 16·3 perches, more or less. Subject to the reservations and conditions imposed by section 59 of the Land Act 1948, and subject also to the reservations imposed by section 8 of the Coal Mines Amendment Act 1950. Vesting the Control of a Recreation Reserve in the Whangarei Borough Council

THE HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for recreation purposes:
And whereas it is expedient that the control of the said reserve should be vested in the Whangarei Borough Council:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 17 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby vests the control of the said reserve in the Whangarei Borough Council.

SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALLOTMENT 160, Parish of Whangarei, situated in Block IX, Whangarei Survey District: Area, 2 roods 22·9 perches, more or less. Subject to the reservations and conditions imposed by section 59 of the Land Act 1948, and subject also to the reservations imposed by section 8 of the Coal Mines Amendment Act 1950. Cancelling the Vesting of Reserves in the Tawera County Council

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 21st day of January 1952
Present:
THE HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the lands described in the Schedule hereto are reserves for the purposes of ferries, and are vested, in trust, in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Tawera:
And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said lands as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the Tawera County Council has duly consented to such cancellation:
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (1) of section 10 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby cancels the vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Tawera of the lands described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
RESERVE 403, situated in Blocks XIV and XV, Bealey Survey District: Area, 912 acres, more or less.
Also Reserve 422, situated in Block XIV, Bealey Survey District: Area, 15 acres, more or less.
