Cancelling the Vesting of a Reserve in the Pohangina County Council

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 21st day of January 1952

Present:

THE HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve for gravel purposes, and is vested, in trust, in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Pohangina :
And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said land as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the Pohangina County Council has duly consented to such cancellation :
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (1) of section 10 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby cancels the vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Pohangina of the land described in the Schedule hereto.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve for a gravel-pit, and is vested, in trust, in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Southland :
And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said land as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the Southland County Council has duly consented to such cancellation :
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (1) of section 10 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby cancels the vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Southland of the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in Block XIV, Apiti Survey District, Wellington Land District

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart for gravel purposes :
And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for Rabbit Board buildings :
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (1) (a) of section 7 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for gravel purposes to a reserve for Rabbit Board buildings.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart for a site for public buildings of the General Government :
And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for Rabbit Board buildings :
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (1) (a) of section 7 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for a site for public buildings of the General Government to a reserve for Rabbit Board buildings.

Changing the Purpose of the Reservation Over Portion of the Pukeatua Domain, South Auckland Land District

THE HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS a notice of intention to issue an Order in Council declaring that the portion of the Pukeatua Domain, described in the Schedule hereto, shall cease to be subject to Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, and shall be deemed to be a reserve for a site for a war memorial subject to Part of I the said Act, was published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 19th day of July 1951 :
And whereas such notice of intention was duly laid before the House of Representatives in accordance with the provisions of subsection (2) of section 7 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928 :
And whereas the House of Representatives, by a resolution dated the 31st day of October 1951, approved the proposed change of purpose as aforesaid :
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (1) of section 41 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that from and after the day of the date hereof the portion of the Pukeatua Domain, described in the Schedule hereto, shall cease to be subject to Part II of the said Act, and shall be a reserve for a site for a war memorial subject to Part I of the said Act.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—PORTION OF PUKEATUA DOMAIN

ALL that area situated in Block X, Maungatautari Survey District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood, more or less, being part Section 33s, Tautari Settlement. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/785, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (S.O. plan 35106.)
