Land Reserved in the North Auckland Land District
FREYBERG, Governor-General
WHEREAS by section 167 of the Land Act 1948 it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time set apart as a reserve, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral lease or pastoral occupation licence, any Crown land for any purpose, which in his opinion is desirable in the public interest, and notice thereof shall be published in the New Zealand Gazette :
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 167 of the said Act, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby reserve the land in the North Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for recreation purposes.
SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area situated in Block VIII, Awhitu Survey District, containing by admeasurement 3 acres and 25.6 perches, more or less, being Lot 25 as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under No. 37599, being part of Allotment 41, Parish of Waiau, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 793, folio 243 (Auckland Registry).
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 7th day of June 1952.

Consenting to the Raising of Portion (£12,000) of the Te Kuiti Borough Council's Loan of £22,250

THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS by Order in Council made on the 27th day of April 1949 (hereinafter called the said Order in Council) and subject to the determinations as to borrowing and repayment therein set out, consent was given to the raising by the Te Kuiti Borough Council (hereinafter called the said local authority) of a loan of twenty-two thousand two hundred and fifty pounds (£22,250) to be known as "Waterworks Improvement Loan 1949" :
And whereas the authority conferred by the said Order in Council has not been exercised.
And whereas the authority has lapsed in accordance with the provisions of clause 7 of the said Order in Council and it is not now lawful or competent for the said local authority to raise the said loan or any portion thereof except in accordance with the provisions of a further Order in Council that may be issued pursuant to section 11 of the Local Government Loans Board Act 1926 (hereinafter called the said Act):
And whereas the said local authority is now desirous of raising portion of the said loan amounting to twelve thousand pounds (£12,000) (hereinafter called the said sum) and it is expedient to authorize the local authority to raise the said sum on the conditions hereinafter set out:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 11 of the said Act as set out in section 29 of the Finance Act 1932 (No. 2), His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the raising in New Zealand by the said local authority of the said sum up to the amount of twelve thousand pounds (£12,000) for the purpose for which the said loan was authorized, and in giving such consent hereby determines as follows:

The term for which the said sum or any part thereof may be raised shall not exceed thirty (30) years.

The rate of interest that may be paid in respect of the said sum or any part thereof shall be such as shall not produce to the lender or lenders a rate or rates exceeding three pounds five shillings (£3 5s.) per centum per annum.

The said sum or any part thereof, together with interest thereon, shall be repaid by equal aggregate annual or half-yearly instalments extending over the term as determined in 1 above.

The payment of such instalments shall be made in New Zealand and no such instalments shall be paid out of loan-moneys.

The rate payable for brokerage, underwriting, and procuration fees in respect of the raising of the said sum or any part thereof shall not in the aggregate exceed one-half per centum of any amount raised.

No moneys shall be borrowed under this consent after the expiration of two years from the date hereof.

THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the Auckland Electric-power Board (hereinafter called the said local authority), being desirous of raising a loan of five hundred thousand pounds (£500,000) to be known as "General Extension and Improvement Loan 1952" (hereinafter called the said loan) for the purpose of further reticulating the Auckland Electric-power District, has complied with the provisions of the Local Government Loans Board Act 1926 (hereinafter called the said Act), and it is expedient that the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council, as required by the said Act, should be given to the raising of the said loan:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 11 of the said Act, as set out in section 29 of the Finance Act 1932 (No. 2), His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the raising in New Zealand by the said local authority of the said loan for the said purpose up to the amount of five hundred thousand pounds (£500,000), and in giving such consent hereby determines as follows:
