Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work, and Not Required
for That Purpose, to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, I,
Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of
New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule
hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land:
34·5 perches.
Being Lot 2, D.P. 38050, being part Lot 478, D.P. 859, being part
of the Kaihu 2D Block, situated in the Borough of Dargaville,
and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate
of title, Volume 912, folio 116 (Auckland Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General,
and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 15th Day
of May 1952.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Bernard Cyril,
Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 6th day of February
1952, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 13 of the 14th
day of the same month, at page 201, declaring land taken for a
Government work, and not required for that purpose, to be Crown
land.

and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 15th day
of May 1952.

Revoking Part of a Proclamation Taking Land for Housing Purposes
in the Borough of Whakatane

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Bernard Cyril,
Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby
revoke the Proclamation dated the 18th day of March 1949, and
published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 18 of the 24th day of the
same month, at page 749, taking land for housing purposes in the
Borough of Whakatane, in so far as it affects the land described in
the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land no longer required:
2 roods 11·2 perches.
Being Lots 32 and 33, D.P.S. 582, part of Allotment 228, Parish
of Waimana, and being part of the land comprised and described
in certificate of title, Volume 500, folio 122, and Volume 500,
folio 123 (Auckland Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General,
and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 20th day of
May 1952.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Bernard Cyril,
Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby
revoke the Proclamation dated the 17th day of February 1951, and
published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 11 of the 22nd day of
the same month, at page 222, taking leasehold estates in land in
Block I, Opua whanga Survey District, for the purposes of a road,
such leasehold estates being no longer required.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General,
and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 16th day
of May 1952.

day of the same month, at page 220, taking land for road in Block I,
Opua whanga Survey District, such land being no longer required.

and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 16th day
of May 1952.
