Declaring Land in Block VI, Otanewainuku Survey District, South Auckland Land District, Vested in the Auckland Education Board as a Site for a Public School, to be Vested in His Majesty the King

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS by subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) it is provided that, notwithstanding anything contained in any other Act, the Governor-General may from time to time, by Proclamation, declare that any school-site or part of a school-site which in his opinion is no longer required for that purpose shall be vested in His Majesty; and thereupon the school-site, or part thereof, as the case may be, shall vest in His Majesty freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date of the Proclamation.

Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the said Act, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Auckland Education Board as a site for a public school, shall be vested in His Majesty the King, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALLOTMENT 604, Parish of Te Papa, situated in Block VI, Otanewainuku Survey District: Area, 2 acres and 1·45 perches, more or less. (S.O. plan 19400s.)

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a public works store and depot; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 28th day of January 1952.

SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 1 rood 24·9 perches. Being part Lot 2, D.P. 7166, being part Rural Section 145.

Situated in Block X, Christchurch Survey District (Canterbury R.D.). (S.O. 7620.)

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 123359, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged blue.

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a police-station; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 28th day of January 1952.

SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 3 roods 26 perches. Being Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 2840, being also part Section 41, Te Puia, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 73, folio 197 (Gisborne Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 17th day of January 1952.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 32·8 perches. Being part Lot 14, D.P. 1704, being part Section 44, Fitzroy District. Situated in Block V, Paritutu Survey District (City of New Plymouth), (Taranaki R.D.). (S.O. 8470.)

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 136149, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
