A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 25 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the development of water-power (Waitaki River Power Scheme); and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 21st day of April 1952.

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.
