Land Subject to the Housing Act 1919 Declared Crown Land Available
for Reservation Under the Land Act 1948

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (1) of section 8 of the Housing Amendment Act 1940, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, being land subject to the Housing Act 1919, to be Crown land available for reservation under the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area situated in Block XVI, Kawakawa Survey District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood 11ยท3 perches, more or less, being Lots 18 and 19 on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under No. 38604, and being part of Section 3, Suburbs of Kawakawa, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 847, folio 97 (Auckland Registry). (S.O. plan 36915.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 10th day of April 1952.

Declaring Land in North Auckland Land District, Vested in the Auckland Education Board as a Site for a Public School, to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS by subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) it is provided that, notwithstanding anything contained in any other Act, the Governor-General may from time to time, by Proclamation, declare that any school-site or part of a school-site which in his opinion is no longer required for that purpose shall be vested in Her Majesty; and thereupon the school-site, or part thereof, as the case may be, shall vest in Her Majesty, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date of the Proclamation :

Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the said Act, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Auckland Education Board, as a site for a public school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area situated in Block XIII, Waiwera Survey District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 28ยท3 perches, more or less, being Lot 1 as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under No. 38790, being part of Allotment 319, Parish of Pukeatua, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 66, folio 88 (Auckland Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 9th day of April 1952.

Revoking the Reservation Over Portion of a Scenic Reserve in the South Auckland Land District

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms portion of a reserve duly set apart for scenic purposes :

And whereas the said land is no longer suitable for scenic purposes by reason of the absence of bush of scenic value thereon :

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 8 of the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act 1910, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the reservation for scenic purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area situated in Block XV, Rotorua Survey District, containing by admeasurement 78 acres 1 rood, more or less, being part of Okohiriki Block No. 2D, Section 3.

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/1884/A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (S.O. plan 13570.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 10th day of April 1952.
