HIQHWAY DISTRICT No. 3

Paradise Valley.—All that road or portion of road in the Rotorua County known as Clayton Road, commencing at its junction with the Hamilton-Rotorua Main Highway at a point two chains north of the junction of the Hamilton-Rotorua Main Highway and the Old Taupo Road at Koutu, at the northern corner of Section 18, Block IV, Horo Horo Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a westerly direction and terminating at its junction with Endean Road and Valley Road at a point in Section 2, Block III, Horo Horo Survey District, being a distance of 5 miles 1 chain, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. l35555, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Hamurana Springs.—All that road or portion of road in the Rotorua County known as the Hamurana Springs Road, commencing at its junction with the Rotorua-Tauranga (Direct) Main Highway and proceeding thence generally in an easterly direction, and terminating at the Hamurana Springs Bridge at the eastern boundary of Scenic Reserve, Block IX, Rotoiti Survey District, being a distance of 2 miles 14 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 135555, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

HIQHWAY DISTRICT No. 5

Kennedy Road - Napier Park.—All that road or portion of road in the Hawke's Bay County known as Kennedy Road, commencing at the western boundary of the City of Napier, and proceeding thence in a south-westerly direction, and terminating at its junction with the Napier-Hastings via Fernhill Main Highway, being a distance of 68 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 13556l, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

HIQHWAY DISTRICT No. 7

Stratford-Opunake.—All those streets or portions of streets in the Borough of Stratford, commencing at the intersection of Broadway and Celia Streets, and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction via Celia Street and Opunake Road, and terminating at the western boundary of the said borough, being a distance of 76 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107309, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Also all that road or portion of road in the Stratford County known as Opunake Road, commencing at the Stratford Borough western boundary at the north-eastern corner of Section 76A, Block I, Ngaire Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction via Cardiff and Mahoe to its intersection with the Manaia-Dawson Falls Main Highway, recommencing at the intersection of the Manaia-Dawson Falls Main Highway and the Opunake Road, and proceeding in a south-westerly direction via Opunake Road, and terminating at its junction with Rowan Road at the north-western corner of Section 12, Block VII, Kaupokonui Survey District, being a distance of 9 miles 67 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 135562, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

HIQHWAY DISTRICT No. 8

Bulls - Scott's Ferry.—All that street or portion of street in the Bulls Town District known as High Street, commencing at its junction with the Wanganui-Levin Main Highway, and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction, and terminating at the western boundary of the said Town District, being a distance of 13 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 135589, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Also all that road or portion of road in the Rangitikei County known as Scott's Ferry Road, commencing at the western boundary of the Bulls Town District at the junction of High Street and Johnston Street, and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction, and terminating at the western boundary of Section 3, Run 23, Block I, Sandy Survey District, being a distance of 12 miles 27 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 135589, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

HIQHWAY DISTRICT No. 9a

Fitzherbert East.—All that road or portion of road in the Kairanga County known as the Fitzherbert East Road, commencing at its junction with the Levin-Palmerston North via Shannon Main Highway at the northern corner of Section 204, Block XV, Kairanga Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly direction, and then in a north-easterly direction, and terminating at the boundary of the said county at a point adjoining Sections 253 and 254, Block XII, Kairanga Survey District, being a distance of 7 miles 30 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 135558, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Also all that road or portion of road in the Oroua County known as the Fitzherbert East Road, commencing at the boundary of the said County at a point adjoining Sections 253 and 254, Block XII, Kairanga Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a north-easterly direction and terminating at its junction with the Napier-Palmerston North Main Highway at a point in Section 166, Block III, Gorge Survey District, being a distance of 3 miles, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 135557, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Himatangi Beach.—All that road or portion of road in the Manawatu County known as the Himatangi Beach Road, commencing at its junction with the Wanganui-Levin Main Highway at Himatangi at the north-eastern corner of Section 323, Block XIII, Te Kauwau Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a westerly direction, and terminating at a point opposite the boundary between Sections 51 and 52 in Koputara Street, Township of Himatangi Beach, being a distance of 5 miles, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 135556, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

HIGHWAY DISTRICT No. 10

Opaki-Kaiparoro via Mauriceville.—All that road or portion of road in the Masterton County known as the Opaki-Eketahuna via Mauriceville Road, commencing at its junction with the Woodville-Masterton Main Highway at Opaki at a point in Section 11, Block XIII, Kopuaranga Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a northerly direction to the boundary of the said County at the north-eastern corner of Section 70, Block V, Kopuaranga Survey District, and recommencing at a southern point of Section 51, Block V Kopuaranga Survey District, and continuing in a northerly direction to the boundary of the Masterton County at a northern point in Section 51, Block V, Kopuaranga Survey District, being a distance of 6 miles 43 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 135884, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Also all that road or portion of road in the Mauriceville County known as the Opaki-Eketahuna via Mauriceville Road, and also that road or portion of road known as Hastwell's-Kaiparoro Road, commencing at Section 28, Block V, Kopuaranga Survey District, at the Mauriceville County boundary, and proceeding thence generally in a northerly direction to the said county boundary at an eastern point in Section 24, Block V, Kopuaranga Survey District, and recommencing at the southern boundary of the Mauriceville County at a point in Section 52, Block V, Kopuaranga Survey District, and continuing in a northerly and then in a westerly direction, and terminating at its junction with the Woodville-Masterton Main Highway at Kaiparoro at a point in Section 70, Block IX, Mangaone Survey District, being a distance of 11 miles 68 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 135884, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

HIGHWAY DISTRICT No. 12

Stillwater-Kaimata.—All that road or portion of road in the Brunner Borough known as the Arnold Valley Road, commencing at its junction with the Inangahua Junction-Greymouth Main Highway at Stillwater, and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly direction, and terminating at the southern boundary of the said borough, being a distance of 1 mile 54 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 135996, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Also all that road or portion of road in the Grey County known as the Arnold Valley Road, commencing at the southern boundary of the Brunner Borough, and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly direction, and terminating at its junction with the access road to the power-house at Kaimata at a point in Section 3354, Block III, Hohonu Survey District, being a distance of 4 miles 12 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 135996, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

HIGHWAY DISTRICT No. 13

Balmoral.—All that road or portion of road in the Amuri County known as the Balmoral Station Road, commencing at its junction with the Reefton-Waipara via Lewis Pass Main Highway at the Hurunui Bridge, and proceeding thence generally in a northerly and then in a north-westerly direction, crossing the Christchurch-Culverden railway at Balmoral, and terminating at Tekoa Road corner, Section 257, Block XII, Mandamus Survey District, being a distance of 5 miles, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 135554, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

HIQHWAY DISTRICT No. 16

Springvale-Clyde.—All that road or portion of road in the Vincent County, commencing at its junction with the Palmerston-Alexandra Main Highway at the north-eastern corner of Section 35, Block VIII, Leaning Rock Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a westerly direction, and terminating at its junction with the Milton-Queenstown Main Highway in the Township of Clyde at the junction of Whitby and Sunderland Streets at a point opposite the western corner of Section 8, Block IX, Township of Clyde, being a distance of 5 miles 64 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 135641, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Palmerston-Alexandra.—All that road or portion of road in the Counties of Waihemo, Maniototo, and Vincent, commencing at the northern boundary of the Borough of Palmerston, and proceeding thence generally in a north-westerly and south-westerly direction via Dunback, Kyeburn, Ranfurly, Wedderburn, Hills Creek, Becks, and Omakau, to the north-eastern boundary of the Borough of Alexandra at the western corner of Section 85, Block VII, Leaning Rock Survey District, being a distance of 102 miles 6 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plans P.W.D. 107600 and 135644, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
