N.Z. Regiment—
Captain S. R. Jensen assumed the appointment of Army Liaison
Officer, N.Z.J.S.L.S., Melbourne, and is granted the temporary
rank of Major whilst so employed. Dated 21 December 1951.
Lieutenant and Quartermaster N. M. Laing to be temp. Captain
and Quartermaster. Dated 15 November 1951.
Roy Forrester Young is granted a short-service commission for
a period of three years as from 18 January 1952, in the rank of
2nd Lieutenant, with seniority from 18 January 1951. Dated 18

THE ROYAL N.Z. ARMY MEDICAL CORPS
Regular Force—
With reference to the notice published in the N.Z. Gazette
No. 92 dated 20 December 1951, relative to the appointment of
Stanley Wickenden, M.R.C.S. Eng., M.R.C.P. Lond., for “a period
of three years” substitute “a period of one year.”
Donald Michael Fraser McDonald, M.B., Ch.B., is granted a
short-service commission for a period of one year as from 9 January
1952, in the rank of Lieutenant, with seniority from 9 January
1950, and is appointed Assistant Medical Officer, Waiouru Camp
Hospital. Dated 9 January 1952.
