Revoking the Reservation Over the Pukeokahu Domain, Wellington
Land District

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 4th day of
February 1952
Present:
THE HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS a notice of intention to issue an Order in Council
declaring that the Pukeokahu Domain, described in the
Schedule hereto, shall cease to be subject to Part II of the Public
Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, and shall be
deemed to be Crown land available for disposal by way of sale for
cash under the Land Act 1948, was published in the New Zealand
Gazette of the 22nd day of November 1951:
And whereas such notice of intention was duly laid before the
House of Representatives in accordance with the provisions of
subsection (2) of section 7 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act 1928:
And whereas the House of Representatives, by a resolution
dated the 5th day of December 1951, approved the proposed revocation as aforesaid:
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (1) of section 41 of the
Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that, from
and after the day of the date hereof, the Pukeokahu Domain,
described in the Schedule hereto, shall cease to be subject to Part II
of the said Act, and shall be Crown land available for disposal by
way of sale for cash under the Land Act 1948.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT—PUKEOKAHU DOMAIN
SECTION 17B, Block IX, Pukeokahu Survey District: Area, 6 acres
2 roods 35 perches, more or less. (S.O. plan 15096.)

WHEREAS a notice of intention to issue an Order in Council
declaring that the portions of the Westshore Domain,
described in the Schedule hereto, shall cease to be subject to Part
II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928,
and shall be deemed to be Crown lands available for disposal by way
of sale for cash under the Land Act 1948, was published in the New
Zealand Gazette of the 20th day of December 1951:
And whereas such notice of intention was duly laid before the
House of Representatives in accordance with the provisions of
subsection (2) of section 7 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act 1928:
And whereas the House of Representatives, by a resolution
dated the 5th day of December 1951, approved the proposed
revocation as aforesaid:
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (1) of section 41 of the
Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that from

SECTION 2, Block XVI, Puketapu Survey District: Area, 4 acres
& rood 16 perches, more or less.
Also parts Section 7, Block XVI, Puketapu Survey District:
Total area, 9 acres 3 roods 22 perches, more or less.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked L. and S. l/108B, deposited in the Head Office, Department
of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Domain Board Appointed to Have Control of the Glenorchy Domain

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 4th day of
February 1952
Present:
THE HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 44 of the Public
Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency
the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes an Order in
Council dated the 5th day of March 1947 and published in the New
Zealand Gazette of the 13th day of that month, appointing a Domain
Board to control the Glenorchy Domain, and hereby appoints
Edward Barnett,
Reginald Ernest Fleming,
George Henry Vernon,
George Matthew Richard Vernon, and
David Wylie
to be the Glenorchy Domain Board, having control of the land
described in the Schedule hereto; and hereby appoints Saturday,
the 2nd day of February 1952, at 8 o'clock p.m., as the time when,
and the Town Hall, Glenorchy, as the place where, the first meeting
of the Board shall be held.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT—GLENORCHY DOMAIN
SECTION 1, Block XX, Town of Glenorchy: Area, 23 acres and
37 perches, more or less. (S.O. plan 289 Tn.)

Domain

PURSUANT to section 44 of the Public Reserves, Domains,
and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council, hereby appoints
Ross Allan,
James Stanley Bundy,
Maurice John Foley, the Elder,
Cecil Leonard Giddens,
Vallance Bishop Jaggar,
Stanhope Ernest Long,
Walter Turner,
Edward Maxwell Turner, and
David Walter Turner
to be the Governor's Bay Domain Board, having control of the land
described in the Schedule hereto; and hereby appoints Thursday,
the 6th day of March 1952, at 8 o'clock p.m., as the time when,
and the Allandale Public Hall as the place where, the first meeting
of the Board shall be held.

THE HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS by an Order in Council dated the 22nd day of
December 1943 and published in the New Zealand Gazette
of the 23rd day of that month a Domain Board was appointed to
have control of the Pipiroa Domain therein described:
And whereas it is expedient to revoke the said Order in Council:
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (2) of section 44 of
the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes the Order in
Council hereinbefore referred to.
