At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 4th day of
February 1952

Present:

THE HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS a notice of intention to issue an Order in Council
declaring that the reservation for recreation purposes over
the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be revoked was
published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 22nd day of November
1951 :

And whereas such notice of intention was duly laid before
the House of Representatives in accordance with the provisions of
subsection (2) of section 7 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act 1928 :

And whereas the House of Representatives, by a resolution
dated the 5th day of December 1951, approved the proposed
revocation as aforesaid :

Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (1) (b) of section 7 of
the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes the reservation
for recreation purposes over the lands described in the Schedule
hereto, and hereby declares that the said lands, being vested in the
Crown, are Crown lands available for disposal under the Land Act
1948.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL those areas situated in Block II, Otahuhu Survey District,
containing by admeasurement a total of 1 rood 1·83 perches, more or
less, being Lot 50 as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry
Office at Auckland under No. 20306, being part Allotment 8, Small
Lots near Panmure ; and Lot 65 as shown on a plan deposited as
aforesaid under No. 20306, being part Allotment 7, Small Lots near
Panmure.

And whereas such notice of intention was duly laid before
the House of Representatives in accordance with the provisions of
subsection (2) of section 7 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act 1928 :

And whereas the House of Representatives, by a resolution
dated the 5th day of December 1951, approved the proposed
revocation as aforesaid :

Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (1) (b) of section 7 of
the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes the reservation
for recreation purposes over the land described in the Schedule
hereto, and hereby declares that the said land, being vested in the
body corporate called the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the
Borough of Manurewa, may be disposed of by the said body corporate
by way of sale by public auction or private contract at such price
and on such terms and conditions as the said body corporate shall
determine, but so that the proceeds of any such sale shall be used
and applied in or towards the purchase of other land for recreation
purposes.

ALL that area situated in Block XI, Otahuhu Survey District,
containing by admeasurement 1 rood 17 perches, more or less,
being Lot 1 as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry
Office at Auckland under No. 36688, being part of Clendon’s Grant,
Parish of Papakura.

tion for recreation purposes over the land described in the Schedule
