Recreation Reserve in the North Auckland Land District Brought Under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928

THE HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 34 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the reserve for recreation in the North Auckland Land District, described in the Schedule hereto, shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter form part of the Paihia Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain by the Paihia Domain Board.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 37 acres 1 rood 9 perches, more or less, being Lot 1 as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under No. 37203, being part Sections 1 and 2, Block IV, Kawakawa Survey District.

Vesting a Reserve in the Upper Hutt Borough Council

THE HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for recreation purposes :

And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Upper Hutt :

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 9 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Upper Hutt, in trust, for recreation purposes.

SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area situated in Block I, Rimutaka Survey District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods 8·51 perches, more or less, being Lot 46 as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington under No. 15638, and being part Section 119, Hutt District.

Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in Block XII, Linkwater Survey District, Marlborough Land District

WHEREAS a notice of intention to issue an Order in Council declaring that the reservation over the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be changed from a reserve for a fish-market for the aboriginal Natives to a reserve for recreation purposes was published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 13th day of December 1951 :

And whereas such notice of intention was duly laid before the House of Representatives in accordance with the provisions of subsection (2) of section 7 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928 :

And whereas the House of Representatives, by a resolution dated the 5th day of December 1951, approved the proposed change of purpose as aforesaid :

Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (1) (a) of section 7 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby changes the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto from a reserve for a fish-market for the aboriginal Natives to a reserve for recreation purposes.

PURSUANT to subsection (1) (b) of section 7 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes the reservation for public buildings over the land described in the Schedule hereto ; and hereby declares that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act 1948.
