Fixing Date on Which Certain Returns Under the Fire Services Act 1949, are to be Furnished

Department of Internal Affairs,
Wellington, 4 January 1952.
Pursuant to section 52 of the Fire Services Act 1949, it is hereby notified that the returns showing the total gross amount of premiums received by or due to fire-insurance companies during the year ended 31 December 1951, shall be transmitted to the Fire Service Council in the manner prescribed by the said section on or before the 29th day of February 1952.

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940
Pursuant to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport doth hereby order and declare that the provisions of clause (l) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:
A motor-driver's licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, to the person described in column l of the Schedule hereunder may authorize him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment for the employer described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorize him, while he is under the age of eighteen years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

Revoking Portion of a Warrant Declaring Areas to be Closely Populated Localities and Declaring Area to be a Closely Populated Locality for the Purposes of the Transport Act 1949, Section 36
Pursuant to section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport doth hereby revoke that portion of the Warrant dated the 27th day of October 1938*, which relates to part of the area described in the Schedule hereto, and doth hereby declare the area described in the said Schedule to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of the said section to the intent that a person driving any motor-vehicle on any road therein shall be subject to the maximum speed limit of thirty miles an hour fixed by the said section.
SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Manukau County—All that area at Bucklands Beach bounded to the west by the Tamaki River Estuary, to the north and east by the sea, and to the south by a right line extending due east and west from a point 23 chains measured along the Bucklands Beach Main Highway No. 531 in a south-easterly direction from the junction of Takutai Avenue and the said main highway.

Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block I, Town of Naseby, for State Forest Purposes (Residence)
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 and section 15 of the Forests Act 1949, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for State forest purposes (residence); and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Naseby and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land required to be taken : 29·3 perches.
Being Sections 199 and 200.
Situated in Block I, Town of Naseby (Otago R.D.).
In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 136021, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Galatea Aerodrome
In the matter of the Public Works Amendment Act 1935 and in the matter of the Galatea Aerodrome in the South Auckland Land District.
The Minister of Works, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1935, hereby gives notice that for the purpose of making the Galatea Aerodrome safe for aviation purposes he prohibits the erection, placing, or extension without his consent of any building, pole, mast, or other structure of any kind, and the growing of trees or shrubs of any kind on the land described in the Schedule hereto beyond the heights, above the level of the ground, hereinafter appearing, that is to say: on Sections 1 to 9 inclusive and Sections 26, 27, and 40 to 46 inclusive, a height of 5 ft. ; on Sections 10, 11, 12, 28, 29, 38, 39, 47, and 48, a height of 15 ft.; on Sections 13, 14, 30, 31, 35, 36, 37, 49, 50, and 51, a height of 20 ft. ; on Sections 15, 16, 32, 33, 34, 54, 55, and 56, a height of 25 ft. ; on Sections 17 to 20 inclusive and Sections 57 to 61 inclusive, a height of 30 ft.
SCHEDULE
ALL those pieces of land situated in the South Auckland Land District being Sections 1 to 20 inclusive, Sections 26 to 51 inclusive, and Sections 54 to 61 inclusive of a subdivision of the Township of Galatea situated in Block XI, Galatea Survey District, such land being shown edged red on the plan marked P.W.D. 135230, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Special Order Made by the Taieri County Council Altering Riding Boundaries
Office of the Minister of Internal Affairs,
Wellington, 25 January 1952.
The following Special Order made by the Taieri County Council is published in accordance with the provisions of the Counties Act 1920. Pursuant to section 100 of the aforesaid Act, as amended by section 3 of the Counties Amendment Act 1921–22, I hereby fix the 1st day of April 1952 as the date from which the Special Order shall take effect.

SPECIAL ORDER
" That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 23 of the Counties Act 1920 the Taieri County Council hereby resolves, by way of Special Order, that as from 1 April 1952 the boundaries of the Kaikorai and Otokia Ridings of the County of Taieri be altered as follows:—
" Kaikorai Riding
" All that area in the Taieri County bounded by a line commencing on the sea-coast at the mouth of the Kaikorai Stream and on its left bank; thence generally northerly along the left bank of the stream to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Block VII, Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District; thence generally north-westerly along that block boundary to the Dunedin-Gore State Highway; thence south-easterly along the centre of that highway to a point in line with the eastern side of the road forming the north-western boundary of Section 77, Block VII, aforesaid; thence generally north-easterly to and along the south-eastern side
